  1. Looks awesome. Very nice paint job, beautiful wheels, and nice detailing especially the engine. Diggin' the taillights too. Looks like the real thing, great job.
  2. Finally finished it. First kit after 22 years away from the hobby. Done in Testors Arctic Blue Metallic enamel spray can. Most detail I have ever done on a model including first time bare metal foil and plug wires.
  3. Thanks, it's testors Arctic Blue Metallic enamel in the spray can.
  4. Thanks. Yeah it was. Got it in 1988 bone stock, lost it in a house fire that started in the garage in 1998. Had a 383 stroker and built 350 trans. It was a great car and still one of my favorite body styles.
  5. Another great '60's GM car. Is that your car as your Avatar ? I had an SS also, great cars. Yeah it was. Bought it in bone stock in 1988, lost it in a house fire that started in garage in 1998. Had a 383 stroker in it, built th350 trans, and my brother did the paint.
  6. Thanks, I got a bottle of Model Masters Pontiac Engine Blue Metallic at my local hobby shop last year. My bottle is watery and runny as all get out ,though and didn't cover well at all. Took three coats to get it to look like that.
  7. That looks wicked! Very nice build!
  8. Nice job! Very cool!
  9. That's a mighty fine job for your first model. I'm almost done with my first build in about 22 years and I hope it turns out close to as nice as this.
  10. That's some fine work right there. Always liked these cars.
  11. That is some really nice work. I love these old cutlasses. Owned a '72 way back in 1984 and 1985.
  12. Holy smokes, that thing looks real. Great job!
  13. Turned out great! Nice smooth paint and the meats out back really set it off well. Hope to finish mine up in the next couple of weeks.
  14. Man that is a crisp, clean build! Looks fantastic!
  15. Nicely done all around. Cherry bombs look great too.
  16. Looks great! Like the engine and interior detail.
  17. Very nice! Really like the color.
  18. Progress report on my '68 Foose Firebird. Color is Testors One Coat Lacquer Lime Ice and a black interior. Got the BMF on it last week, and cleared yesterday. Got the plug wires in the mail today, hopefully get it wired tomorrow, then wet sand and polish the body and final assembly. Will be my second kit behind the '67 Chevelle since about 1996.
  19. Progress report on my '69 Camaro. Color is Tamiya TS-12 Orange with the kit decal stripes. Got her foiled last week and got the wire for the motor in today's mail. Still needs to be cleared and some details finished up before final assembly.
  20. Just got the plug wires for my Revell '67 Chevelle in the mail today. Hopefully get the Engine wired tomorrow and finish this one up. Will be my first completed kit since about 1996.
  21. Thank you, I did try to sand the back open but it didn't turn so good so I had extra grill that I just painted and black washed. Pretty impressive for being paint and blackwash. About ready to attack the grill on my '69 Camaro, hope mine turns out that good.
  22. The grill on the '69 looks great. Did you just sand the back off to open it up?
