My version of the Revell 1966 Pontiac GTO. The car from the movie Knight and Day was my inspiration for this one. Tamiya X-31 Titanium Gold was thinned and airbrushed on. Createx 4053 High Gloss Clear was wet-sanded, polished, and waxed. Folkart Glam Gold was used for the interior with embossing powder for the carpet. I added spark plug wires, heater hoses, valve stems, and door locks for extra detail. I used Bare Metal Foil for the trim, and a combination of BMF and Molotow Chrome for the interior trim. I did some dry-brushing on the frame to show off some of the molded in details and give it a bit of a driven look. This was an excellent kit to build and I really enjoyed the build process on this one.

Excellent work! This was one of my favorite kits to build, I did mine as a street/strip version. As you said, even with many modifications and aftermarket parts it still pretty much falls together. You're paint and color choice is great, as well as the wheel/tire choice, engine, and stance!

Well done! That is a striking contrast of colors with the interior and body, I can see why you chose it as inspiration! -

Excellent weathering! Well done! -
Very nice! The extra details look great! All of those old Monogram 1/24 scale kits are like that, low parts but great fit and nice molded in details that just beg for extra added details.

Here's my version of the AMT 2021 Dodge Charger R/T. It's painted in as close to F8 Green as I could get using Createx Pearl Lime with a few drops of Createx Opaque Black to get the proper shade. I cleared it with Createx 4053 High Gloss and gave it the wet-sand, polish, and wax treatment. I had a problem getting the decals to conform to the contours of the front and rear clips, so I just masked and painted all of the stripes on. The interior is all done with craft paints as is the chassis/suspension/exhaust with some AMMO by Mig Aluminum and Vallejo Chrome applied as well. Quite possibly AMT's finest kit, I was impressed with the detail and overall quality of this kit. The fit and finish was excellent on all sub-assemblies, with most connections probably not even requiring glue, although I did glue everything, lol. The final assembly was slightly tricky lining up the pins to the holes on the front and back, but with some patience they did line up. At final assembly, the front and rear clips didn't quite sit flush on the passenger side, although several test fits until then were spot on, but I did glue on the side skirts before the instructions indicated so that might have thrown some things off. Also, the finished ride height is a little high in my opinion, but not overly terrible. These could have been caused by user error so I can't be too critical there. All in all, this is a fantastic kit as most of you already know since I'm probably the last one on this Forum to build one, lol. Anyways, thanks for looking!

Can't remember if I posted these earlier. Picked these up in a trip to Michael's and Hobby Lobby. I got the AMT '64 Chevelle Malibu SS from Michael's, and the AMT 1960 Ford F-100 Pickup with trailer and AMT 1970 Dodge Challenger from Hobby Lobby. Plans for the '64 Chevelle include sourcing a small block Chevy from a kit in my stash, aftermarket wheels and tires, and removing the molded in exhaust to replace it with a scratch-built exhaust. The F-100 Pickup and trailer will be weathered and those plans also include the AMT 1971 Mustang Mach 1 007 kit as a "barn find project" to be on the trailer.
