  1. Nice looking GTO!
  2. Thanks everyone! Much appreciated!
  3. Here's my Revell 1969 GTO Judge, my first GTO build in a long time. Painted in Tamiya X-6 Orange with some Tamiya X-7 mixed in, thinned and airbrushed. Createx 4053 High Gloss Clear was wet-sanded, polished, and waxed. Bare Metal Foil was used for the trim. I used a Fireball Modelworks Rochester Quadrajet carb and 17 inch Rally II's from Jay's Resin Wheels and Tires on eBay. The interior is painted in Createx Opaque Black and I added embossing powder for the carpet. I used 1/8" aluminum tubing for the exhaust tips, drilled out the nostrils on the ram-air hood, and added ignition wires and heater hoses for extra detail. A lower parts count kit, as most of the old 1/24 scale muscle car kits from Monogram were, but still a very nice kit. Little to no flash and excellent parts fit made this a very enjoyable build. Thanks for looking!
  4. Looks great, well done!
  5. Thanks! The windows were a little tricky, especially the back with the angle it's in. The interior fit right in with the body and chassis no problem. Thanks everyone, much appreciated!
  6. I just finished the Revell 1970 Ford Torino Cobra yesterday. I airbrushed it in Apple Barrel Tuscan Red with a few drops of Apple Barrel Black mixed in to darken the color. I cleared it with Createx UVLS 4050 Gloss Clear, then wet-sanded, polished, and waxed it. I used the wheels and tires from the AMT 1971 Ford Mustang Diamonds Are Forever kit. The interior is just black craft paint with satin clear, and I did add embossing powder for the carpet. Bare Metal Foil was used for the chrome trim on the windows and wheel wells. I did add ignition wires and heater hoses for added detail. This was a pretty nice kit with lots of detailing decals included, although I would have loved to have had the GT side decals to choose from as well but that's really nitpicking, lol. Anyways, I really enjoyed building this kit. Thanks for looking!
  7. Very well done! This is a very nice kit to do!
  8. Well done!
  9. Very nice! The blue and silver is a great color combo!
  10. Very nice!
  11. Nicely done!
  12. Nice work!
  13. That looks fantastic and could easily pass for the real thing! Great color choice and excellent detailing in the engine compartment!
  14. Turned out really nice! What a great color!
  15. Yeah, when I built mine the rear quarter glass fell off when I put the body to the chassis. The glue held together very well, so there was no separating to try again, so I tried to put the windows in as assembled and they just wouldn't go in. I left them off not realizing they were supposed to be permanent. I got called out a few times for that, but I honestly think it looks cleaner that way, lol.
