My recently completed AMT1967 Chevelle Pro Street with ghost flames done in Tamiya X-23 Clear Blue. As a base coat for the main body, I used Shuttle Art Flash Black which is really a dark charcoal, and for the flames I used Chroma Molten Metals Silver. I used Lazy Modeller Generic Tribal Small flame masks, which worked very well. The interior is done in a custom mix of blue craft paints with embossing powder for the carpet. The shifter is from Kamikaze 3D on eBay. The engine is mostly from the kit with an extra intake manifold, carburetor, and air cleaner from an Iceman Collections engine and the headers are from him also. The mufflers are scratch built and the pipes are 1/8" aluminum tubing. The tires are from the kit, but the wheels are custom made using MAD Modeling Pro Stars and the kit wheel rings, and were painted with Molotow Chrome. This was a pretty good kit and was fun to build with the only issues being self-inflicted. Thanks for looking!!

I definitely agree on those points. I do have to admit that on a couple of my more customized builds some things really wouldn't go over in real life. Tire rubs for starters, like on this one and the rear suspension really isn't very well structured. I try to point these things out in my videos, usually with the phrase "It's not really very purposeful in the real world, but in Styreneland if it fits it's good enough for me", lol.

Thanks Michael! You really do notice the details, lol. The bumpers had to be sprayed over with Molotow Chrome to cover where the mold lines were on the sides of them. The actual car that this was kind of copied from had the orange in the trim and I thought it really set it off. Here's a couple of pics of the car.

Here's my version of the AMT 1955 Chevy Bel Air. It's painted in a two-tone brown using custom mixed craft paints and cleared with Createx UVLS 4050 Gloss. The interior is also custom mixed craft paints and I used embossing powder for carpet. I used numerous aftermarket parts on this on requiring lots of modifications. The parts include an Iceman Collections 572 ci big block, Jay's Resin Wheels (eBay) wheels and tires, Lex's Scale Modeling (eBay) Hood, Kamikaze 3D (eBay) floor shifter, and a lazyspectator (eBay) Accel Coil. Additional parts include the rear end and suspension from an AMT NASCAR kit, scratch made mufflers, and the rest of the exhaust using 1/8" aluminum tubing. The wheels were airbrushed using Molotow Chrome, and the trim is Bare Metal Foil. This one was lots of fun, and as mentioned, required lots of modifications for everything to fit. Very well done! I have this kit, but after building the Mercedes SSK a bit ago, I'm very hesitant to tackle this one, lol.
