  1. MPC 1974-1976 Pontiac Firebirds AMT/MPC 1974-1977 Camaro AMT/MPC Late 80's-90's Firebird/Camaro I'll second the MPC Chevette Last but not least the MPC 1/16 scale Dodge Super Charger/Charger Street Machine. My personal Holy Grail kit!
  2. The Monogram 1941 Willys Gasser Pickup is my first gasser build. I mixed a few drops of Createx Opaque Black into some Createx Pearl Blue for the color, with Createx 4053 High Gloss Clear. I purposely didn't bring out the best shine on this one because of the racing aspect. Body color and opaque black were used for the interior and frame. I didn't really detail the underneath or engine compartment due to the lesser quality of the kit. I sourced a few different kit decal sheets for the sponsors including the AMT Three Stooges 1940 Ford Delivery and the AMT Der Beetle Bus. Other than the decals, this one was done box stock. Not a very well detailed kit and the parts fit wasn't the best, but with some patience I think it turned out ok and was kind of a fun build. Thanks for looking!
  3. Cool color combo.
  4. I think these qualify as Pro Touring.
  5. Thanks Carl! My YouTube link should be in my sig down here ↓. I can't get any other link to work.
  6. Awesome looking Chevelle and what a great looking color!
  7. Thanks! It's an excellent engine and assembles nicely. I bought two and will buy more soon!
  8. Thanks Bill! Thanks for the heads-up on the lights. I have a hard time distinguishing the patterns on headlights most of the time and these were especially tricky!
  9. Here's my version of the AMT 1964 Chevelle Malibu SS Craftsman Plus Series kit. The color is Delta Turquoise with a couple of drops each of Anita's Topaz and Delta Navy Metallic for the final shade. It was cleared with Createx UVLS 4050 Gloss which was then wet-sanded, polished, and waxed. I used Bare Metal Foil for the window trim. The interior was helped with some embossing powder for the carpet, a MCV Products steering wheel, and a sewing pin for the shifter. An Iceman Collections Custom LSX engine and transmission provides the power and is an excellent product. A combination of 9 gauge wire, 1/8" aluminum tubing, and MCV Products mufflers was used for the exhaust. Putting the "power to the pavement" is an excellent set of Jay's Resin Wheels and Tires 20 and 21" Torq Thrust wheels and tires. Overall a pretty nice kit lends itself well to being customized. Check out my YouTube channel for updates showing some of the work that was done on this one. Thanks for looking!
