  1. Well…I can’t seem to get that link to work
  2. This has been on the back burner until I can get decals for it…unfortunately the ones listed in this thread are not currently available. I would love to get back on this…hmmmm?
  3. Well, I’m not convinced we will see this kit in US anytime soon so I’ll pay what I have to .
  4. They have the Revell 1/8 TA up for presale. I’m considering ordering there but if you know a better site that has it for preorder that would work!
  5. Anyone in the US ever order from this place https://www.models2u.co.uk/index.html ? Reputable???
  6. Last time I simulated concrete for a diorama, I used plexiglass. I used a scribe to carve in cracks , seams , etc, and painted it a tan/beige/grayish color and used thinned Tamiya smoke for oil stains. I’m sure others have better methods but that worked for me.
  7. With the fact that Revell is releasing the 1/8 Trans Am kit , I’m betting lots of folks are gonna want to paint it black. I’m considering doing mine in black but only if I’m comfortable that I can lay down a perfect black paint job. Can any of you that have tips for that perfect black paint offer up any advice? Brand of paint, polish you use, clear coat????? Thanks in advance!!!
  8. Where is it available as a preorder?
  9. I’ll order mine from Mars if I have to?
  10. I’m really stoked about this release, I’ve wanted one of these for a long time but didn’t want to pay eBay prices for one. I see that it say decals for 3 versions. Curious to see the decal sheet.
  11. I did the rubbings on this car by dabbing different colors on the body and dragging it with a wide flat brush
  12. This is my Holy Grail kit!! As I understand it the ‘79 was made for KB Toys stores and sold only there, then Monogram kitted the 80 after that, but I could be wrong.
  13. Used the chassis in these kits to build this using a Revell body if memory serves correctly.
  14. Perhaps this is what you need…no smell or mess and easy to weigh
  15. Why can’t you airbrush inside an apartment…I did it for years next to an open window with a window fan….maybe not the best thing but it worked.
  16. Another small update…the grill and bumper are finished, grill got pe screen and headlights from The R/M 29 Model A, on the bumper I filled the the lights and smoothed it all up. Both are ready for Alclad. I also finished the cab interior.
  17. No it does not need to be thinned….. and really whatever brush you use to blend or wipe it doesn’t really matter as long as it’s wide enough to create whatever look your going for
  18. Wow!! I may need some of those air horns!!
  19. I have no answers to those questions…I didn’t make the video….only putting it out there for informational reasons. The point is the tanks are not aluminum.
