  1. Real........Whoops wrong thread!! OVER the top...I wish I could see it up close And take hundreds of pictures....only then could I start seeing all the details...AWESOME !!!
  2. glad you guys told me about the lube....I better get some, my 200 is 20 years old and my 155 is 5 now..and never been lubed.
  3. That means subscriptions will cost more......
  4. One big note about using ultrasonics and cleaners and degreasers...DO NOT over clean them, as you will draw all the lubrication from the metal. I am a firm believer of the jar of lacquer thinner and use the plunge and blow method to keep things clean....
  5. I will stick to DOT 3 brake fluid. It works on all lacquers...90 % alcohol also works. I also use the oven cleaner....nasty stuff for the skin and lungs. I use DOT 3 in a quart sized tray....when old and fullof water It goes to my local oil change and they will recycle it free.
  6. So put it up in the workbench as you are building....you will get all sorts of opinions on the build...I like to listen so I learn....
  7. I saw the name on it before Harry PS'd it off......
  8. Also works well with a dustbuster....and doesn't have as much suction.
  9. And then Hoss took her home.......... :P
  10. Nor I.....And I do have a Hudson kit.....and I might even have enough time to figure out what I'm going to build.
  11. Jason...Bob Downie has used "Bin" sealer between layers of duplacolor...it will need a regular coat of primer, then another primer layer. Bob swears by this method , and has published it....PM me if you want to see the copy
  12. This should be a feature in the Mag.......HARRY !!!!!
  13. Totally agree! I think the Doc will be in a distant Galaxy..........
  14. Pro Street Stagecoach.........
  15. send a PM to george 53....He knows Alan
  16. general makes a 4 part pin vice set.....will work from #80 to #1 You could swap out the collet to your old faithfull.......
  17. And some spotlights with that star.....
  18. Love the suede, the rear bob looks bitchin...I may do that to mine, I used the side pods and slammed it,but I didn't want to C the frame with the rear buggy spring, and I put the Ardun heads from the 50 PU in mine...
  19. Great answer Glenn. As a retired camera and optics repairman You are spot on.... ;)
  20. I am not impressed with them at all. The prices are good...Tamiya paints (if stocked) best $$ around. I live one day away from them (UPS) but it will take from 7 to ten days to get the order. I get parts from Dennis @ model express in two days....from the exact other end of the country. They are INTERNET based only...rude on the phone if you want any info OTHER than spend more money, sir????? No thank you I will pass.....Thier packing for shipping is some of the worst in the hobby...but you get what you pay for. I ran a Picking , packing , and shipping crew of 65 in a wholesale hardware warehouse...and was UPS trained to teach packing, so I will spend with other vendors like tower, who pack correctly, ship promptly, and rarely make errors...over 150 orders, only 2 screw ups..One mine...One theres.. free shipping over $30. works well
  21. A classic 6 cylinder Bomb.......SWEET!!!!! I've done the same to a 48 Aerosedan and am doing a 48 ford currently..... These are soo kool to research also.
  22. call Golden Bell Press....ask for Sherrie.....
