Your bending too quickly, alum will harden an fracture. If you are not getting any crushing or flattening at the bend, no need to fill the inside with sand, solder or plastic. You can GENTLY HEAT the tubing...but I've never had to with alum. Another tip is do not try to bend at the end of your tube...go more to the middle and then go slow, let it relax and try not to bend the whole angle in one shot....let the metal have a "break" so it doesn't

A forum friend from Belfast makes dented panels by using a pie plate, bent to the shape of the fender or other part, like this hood, then he puts real dents in it.. After the metal part is formed, the plastic original is cut away, then dented however you want,painted with a self etching primer then installed with CA My friend will not participate on this forum due to a few members...But I have posted his creative genus for all to learn from!!.Thanks Nige!!

I have used it many times...It does spray thick....decant or heat the can. I would suggest duplacolor primer under. The flake size does appear smaller after clearing. Inca Gold, Lime Ice , and Diamond dust are always used by me!! roof..inca gold

If it is a crack at the joint a dab of JB weld will work...but you will need to remove the plating...I would send it to Badger...was it dropped?

Nick...start by cleaning and removing all crud from them, then dip it slowly, hold by a corner and wick off the excess. You may still need to sand and polish if you have deep scratches

And thats why I google....Harry can fool us with images that are poor.....I will find the image....you can see the difference in these two pictures..same source. The poor quality is a trick to make you think model. This one was quite easy....too many Dzus fasteners on this car........
