  1. Have you sprayed acryllics with it?...if so you have a hardened film inside all the passages...that will restrict paint flow....soak it overnight in lacquer thinner.....or its GREX time
  2. get a glass and fill it 1/2 way with milk....swirl the glass....watch it run down the sides....thin the paint to the same...Tamiya acrylics do vary by color and each batch...some needs a few drops..others lots more...think milk!!
  3. Dirty Mary....Crazy Larry........... Don't forget "Superfly" :(
  4. 51......He was a good person....."Only the good die young" RIP Stephan :(
  5. My motorcycle has an American made, and designed 2 cylinder V twin motor with 105 HP 110 ft lbs of torque....its a small motor , no blower, turbo , or funny gas. So why not a 3 cyl?? Saab used to have one...two stroke http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Straight-three_engine
  6. Looking for Dio goodies, so went into a HUGE RR store in Buford GA.....found the last bottle of Tenax in the state!!! IT'S A GREAT DAY!!!!
  7. Windex will cut it.....just spray and wash....or soak it in fresh future. Ammonia will cut it.....but will also make chrome disappear
  8. Warm it, shake for 15 min, move in.....shoots like glass, clear it and polish . I suspect that all 3 are the problem. This paint is thick, and if you try to mist...it will dry too quiclky..rough texture I shoot lots of it and love it as it lays smooth....the Elke was taped twice over the diamond dust.None of thes had any color sanding done, only wetsanding the clear
  9. is it a raised line?....add a bit of styrene and mold and sand
  10. I'm stupid.....nor do I want to be PC THAT SAID.......I AM A PROUD AMERICAN.....I RIDE AND DRIVE AMERICAN. AS MANY OF US OLD BIKERS SAY "WE DON'T CARE HOW THEY DO IT IN JAPAN" GOD BLESS THE USA.....THE ONLY PLACE FOR FREEDOM AND FREE THOUGHT THESE ARE MY THOUGHTS....AND AS MUCH AS I LOVE THE USA...MY SON IS A CERTIFIED BMW TECH AND OWNS A TWIN TURBO AUDI AS3...THAT DESTROYS MY BIG INCH V TWIN.
  11. This one even looks good!!
  12. Great job Walt!! I will add when you pour the future into the tub GO SLOW so you do not get bubbles...if they stay on the glass you will have to redip and soak, or windex it off and re do.
  13. just off the wire........... Viruses and malware have almost always been an issue for Windows-based computer users, but not so much for Apple's Mac users -- at least in part because PC's outnumber Macs about 16-1. "If you're making some kind of malware or virus ware, or Trojan or anything, you're going to concentrate on where the most potential victims are, and that's on the Windows side", says CNET.com's Dan Ackerman. But last month, the web security firm Intego reported that Apple's increasingly popular computers were being targeted for the first time by malware programmers with something called "Mac Defender". "It's not a virus", states Ackerman. "It's not a program. It just tricks you into installing a program that you don't want and then tries to get you to pay the company to remove the problem that it itself created." Tricking Mac users out of money -- not destroying their computer -- was Mac Defender's aim. And once word filtered out about it, the malware's creators even modified Mac Defender's look and name a few times to try to stay ahead of the game. "Apple's really not used to dealing with this issues on a large scale. Unlike Windows computers, Apple computers don't have a big anti-virus program built in. And look out for the same suspicious things that every other computer user does", warns Ackerman. At first, Apple only offered customers self-help suggestions for dealing with the problem. But, after a torrent of online criticism and a huge spike in customer service calls, Apple finally went a step further late last week, releasing a security patch for its current operating system to target the malware. "This is a wake up call that even if you're on a Mac, which has traditionally been a pretty safe platform for users, you still have to keep your guard up and look out for the same suspicious things that every other computer user does", says Ackerman. For Mac users, it's an all-new game of cat and mouse.

  20. Clark Oil was a Milwaukee institution service only!! Spent many Sundays there from 2:00 to 10:00pm every sunday..made 15.00 a shift! the Milwaukee historical society has some refrences to Emory Clark and the company...let me do some digging... I worked at the Clark station at Santa Monica and Hampton for Rollie Paquin and My Brother in law was the Clark Dealer on Port road in Mequon at Donges Bay rd Glass, brick and white painted trim...... http://pleasantfamil...s-stations.html
  21. I use .010 sheet styreen..its like paper. I brush Bondine on both surfaces press out ripples etc and let dry, Tenax and Pro Weld are to hot, and dry too quickly. I use this when chopping and sectioning hoods and bodies....because it is thin it will fit and be easy to hide. The solvent will bond all 3 parts together...let it dry overnight before working it.
