  1. Fuzzy fur is too far away, or the 91% is causing it to dry too quick, or both. Only luck I've had AB acrylics is with Tamiya or polly scale thinners. Others use 70%, 91%, or windshield washer fluid. Never worked for me..But I prefer lacquers
  2. Bill is right on...you might want some 800 to finish . Also use wet paper, soaked in water with a drop of dish soap. Also when sanding..DO NOT PRESS DOWN..let the paper float and do the work..keep it wet and stop, clean and look what has been removed. Blocks of rubber or foam will help...in the 1:1 world the best tool is the "longboard"..

  4. No its really for teeth....I was in Winder GA last week and heard about it up there...got it in a couple of days,,,It is 200 white pellets that you heat, they turn"clear. You mold them and as it cools it turns white,,,,gotta have SOME use for models...what?? I don't know yet

Its called "Temptooth" heat activated polymer plastic used to make temporary teeth....heres a video about it...I'm gonna first make a tooth....and then?? you warm it, shape it , cool and then fit and file.....gotta be a modeling use??...can be reheated if it isnt correct...I'm gonna do a styrene test with it http://movielocker.com/4586

  8. These were stolen from the Z06 for this Cameo..the transaxle is in the rear connected by the Torque tube which "hides" the driveshaft This is a 1:1... see Skips picture...same idea..different model as its supercharged

  14. Now you switched to IE9...does the popup on this board go only to profile or does it show all options from profile to gallery? Mine would only let me go to profile

  18. Hey....thats MY bride.....June 21, 1975 She knows I'm nuts...for playing with plastic cars. ...BUT she sees the great friends I've made in modeling....so I do get the checkbook now and then. If I can hook her on my Dio project....I will have even more fun....if not...I'm still nutz after all these years And as my parents only blessed me with one sister....I sure am glad I've got lots of Brothers Here thanks George and Rick and all ya others ;)

  21. Do these work? These were hand cast by a good friend for me, he does not sell them.That said those look like ford 1 ton wheels,as used on my '37 dually 4D resins, by Danny Tarpley sells Ford, Chevy and Dodge wheels for $6.00 a set of 4.Follow the link and see if thats what you want!
  22. If there is no fan or temp adjustment....wire a dimmer into the line cord, use a thermometer and dial it down to 105...I will find the orig post and pix....
