  1. You should always drain it weekly...or more , as the water in the tank can spray..unless you have a water trap..
  2. I would doubt that....setting up the files will be very time consuming...and as we know time = money and as resin bodies can be found for 15.00 (yeah Jimmy F )......what advantage will it have ..except in bulk?
  3. While the trees were drying I started the hill cover with whiteglue, soapwater and a couple of different colors of foam...burnt grass and light grass....sprinkled some earth and fine cinders over the top for some depth, then spray it again with glue solution....it will dry in a couple of days due to the density of the foam and how thick it is in spots. Once its dry then I will plant those trees and then I can finally set the building down and blend that base in with some hydrocal.....this batch will have to be tinted concrete, then the gravel will look better on it...then some weeds a bit of adjusting and then the Weathering, roof and interior will follow...
  4. Did some "scenic" stuff this weekend. Started with a bit of earth colored turf to blend and tone things a bit... Used white glue and dish soap then dusted the turf down to the surface, then misted more white glue mix over it ...time to dry, So I'm going to make trees. Woodland sells this good stuff in different colors, a bit of the scenic glue on the bare tree armatures and when its dry its sticky...REALLY !!! Heres half done, this group is 3 different sizes.
  5. I'm reading soaking is it shaking??.....soaking tells me tank of water...Shaking says something is loose inside, jamming the cycling and that will blow the breaker....... I didn't see it was tankless....Some A/B compressors do have a small 1 gallon tank....... Never Mind
  6. does it have a drain in the tank.....
  7. Not the issue here Skip. What the deal with this unit is the power on switch for the compressor that is operated by a simple switch..on at 30 off at 60.(not adjustable) By shooting at a lower pressure it seems to pulsate and not give true consistant pressure....until you go over 30 psi.....works great. Thats why I have two compressors...I only use this for Auto Air paints now.
  8. I love Donn and the whole idea....Assuming Kathie gives the OK..... BUT we must have a lacquer safe zone..just because Donn uses lacquer thinner..doesn't mean he is one of us!!!!
  9. I have the Harbor Fright version and it is a good unit... but these are not recommended for use under 30 psi....I use mine for Auto Air, which requires 55 psi as it is water based... I have a Harbor tankless version and it gives me 22 psi after a burst, with my 2 stage A/B I clear the pressure then I can pull back for my color or clear and no pulsation.

  12. The motor looks great... any more shots ??
  13. I suspect it is blushing ..caused by humidity...too much Clearing and polishing will work, a trip in the dehydrator could help also.. I live in Humidity World..I deal with blush now and then...letting it dry or reactivating (another coat) lacquers usually solve the problem the trick is finding a low humidity area for spraying and flashing...I then use my dehydrator for final curing and so far its worked well
