  2. David, True Fire was done by a painter named Mike LAVALLEE thru his shop "Killer Paint" He does those flames all freehand on any surface, He sells the stencils and DVD to show you how. http://www.killerpaint.com/gallery.html

  4. I read the letter on the web site and I hope and pray for everything to return to "normal" The fact that new orders are not being taken until all previous orders are filled is good.....Time will tell Also Hizoot.....saw the Willys in the contest issue..still killer!!
  5. Dennis at Model Express is fantastic.....much quicker than Tower...He is my LHS.....1200 miles away..and no road trip needed!! and Hobby Lobby is coming to Fort Myers soon.....

  10. that beast is soooo fugly its KOOL... ;) Can't wait to see what develops.
  11. The metal bodied rat on the cover is out of this world....
  12. and almost never broke the tip off either. I have used my strop and diamond block and it works well....just not worth the time, with the lousy steel that doesn't hold an edge. Even bulk razor blades are softer and softer
  13. Jared...scratch the F100....I'm going to do a 37 ford PU found some hand cast wheels and tires....Its time for a 37 Dually...
  14. I think a good start date would be now and run till may 25. I think that would give you all(including myself) enough time to finish your build.
  15. The sharpener will not give a burr free edge for BMF. I to use the fingertip method, but seem to get more kuts per blade. I use excell bulk blades, just did this 47....thats a lot of foil..3 blades, the Impala also took 3 blades..I use new blades for the foiling, then use them for building
  16. I use 3 Tamiya Duplacolor Black Gold (HOK aerosal) My normal method of application is airbrush... MM lacquers are more work than the others, and as they do not have any unique colors....I rest my case. all are lacquer base and I mix and match for my color needs. I prefer decanted TS13 clear over the Others...goes on glass smooth with the airbrush
  17. I think its time for a spring roadtrip, to the big city....You should be shovelled out by now............
  18. I think there were more entries than 4.....could we see the others?? I'm still in shock.....what a fun build!
  19. A great day in automotive history....
  20. I think its a great start for a rod. What mill you gonna use??
  21. Thats why MPD switched to FXRTs over FLHs....the ability to jump curbs and keep up pursuit.....w/o blowing tires ;)
  22. You have me confused now...what are the differences between Tenax and tamiya thin. I've been using pro weld as tenax was in short supply Another white glue is "crafters choice" water based super glue....works like Aileens..but tougher
  23. Not too bad...but it won't like rice....... I'm going American......
  24. Sounds like water in the regulator or the guage. Noting you live a bit north...freezing could also be the issue. If the seals in the reg are bad you will get some leakage...a welding shop might be able to check it for you...if the shop hyrdo tests cylinders they should be able to check the reg for leakage
