Super build! Again, what was the chassis from? It had great detail as I recall.

It was quite a novelty when we would see them all flying. This guy was at least 50, he met his demise in bed with a younger lady that was not his wife... -
61 and sunny. Yesterday topped off at 82, hard to believe that September is almost over. I'm watching some storms that are tracking north. I may have to batten things down next week.

Out of the ball park! Amazing level of detail, as always! -
Yesterday was 70 when I got up, today 65 and cloudy. We got a little rain overnight. It feels less humid today. There are 2 storm fronts that may be heading our way next week.

I had a neighbor who raced them. He had a coop above his garage. I don't know how he did it, but now and then we'd see maybe all of them circling the 'hood. -
There was a guy in my model club, I forget who it was, this was 20 years back. He scratch built a Holley 2 barrel carburetor out of many pieces. The accuracy was impressive. He did cast some resin pieces from it. I still like to make my own oil filters and starters. The oil filters I can make as long as I like them. Starters are only a few pieces.

My grandma had a cat named Gus who loved beer 🍺!

Sweet cat! Our Ivan was a feral kitten. He can still be rough around the edges.

There is one kit on Etsy that is worth a look. Im considering getting one myself. -
Very nice! I've wondered why AMT chose the '41 Plymouth over the '39, which at least to me, looks a lot better.
-
Wow, what survivors! The black one looks like it has the AMT '36 Ford Pontiac engine in it.

Some people think that 3D parts jump out of the box and go right onto the model. Like slush-cast resin parts, most need some degree of work to make them look presentable. Both 3D and conventional resin parts are still RESIN. Although 3D parts can be made from non-resin materials. 3D parts are often brittle, good luck if you have to open holes in thin sections.

Been getting warmer by the day here. Monday was 49, yesterday 64 and today is 66. It did rain some last night. Humid! Up to 96%... yesterday was a sticky 80 by 2 pm.

I have a bunch of these, I should dive into one of them. You've done a good job fixing that one up. Model Car Garage does make a PE grille for the '36. I have one in my stash. The install will be tricky with the compound curves.
-
I wish I could take them all. I fostered 5 one time in the past, they were a lot of fun.
-
I had them replaced a sheet some years back, same problem with thin stripes.
-
The fact that the windshield frame is intact... that is awesome!

Jayes Model Car Garage has some excellent 3D printed ones, fittings on both ends. Very easy to use

They are my personal air force! I have at least a dozen of them.
