I'm a eBay member since 1999. I buy lots of things there. Model stuff, car parts, clothing, etc. I use Pay Pal and pay using a debit card I have on file. Over the years my card has been hacked a few times. I do have saved sellers that I trust. I've only been burned in a scant few transactions in over 1500 + of them.

We were just watching War Games from 1983, he had a bit part in it. He was one of the USAF guys in the missile silo. -
62 at 5:30 am. It rained hard last night after 9, pretty clear right now.

67 F at 6 AM and sticky... again. Shaping up to be a nice day. The plants all look happy. Definitely good pool weather. I have to do some vegetable garden weeding once the lawn sprinklers are done.

I built one around 1996 when I got back into modeling. Testors paint, zero aftermarket parts... I was not happy with the results. BACK IN THE BOX!!... I dug it out in early 2001, cut it up to make a stock car.

My sister had an orange cat named Poppy. He was quite the character, he would hiss at the mailman through a front window. Sadly she lost him at age 8. Her last cat, a Maine Coon, she lost a year ago. She says no more cats.

Yesterday topped off at 84, got my deck power washing done. Big time thunder and rain off and on all last night, still raining. The plants have all taken a quantum leap recently. 74 right now with a RH of 96%.

The modeling forums on FB are rife with inane A1 generated posts. I shun them, but many take the bait. -

I'm taking a break from modeling, doing summer stuff mostly. The next rainy day I'll get back into it. -
Yesterday was a brutal 93 with 89% humidity. I was power washing my deck, mostly in the shade. I quit around 3 when I ran out of shade. Pool breaks helped. I hand-watered my patio pots. We had a big t-storm cone through around 1 AM that scared the cat. Everything got a good soaking. Today is 72 at 6 AM... back to power washing while the sun is hiding.

Any issue telling them apart (as in the striped ones...) ? They must be a lot of fun.

Another hot one starting up. I need to hand water a few things before it gets too hot. Yesterday topped off at around 91.

There was a TV detective show, Honey West starring Anne Francis from 1965 to 1966, IIRC. She drove a Cobra (and had an Ocelot cat named Bruce... who bit people on the set...) around LA. So I built the same kit when AMT brought it out. I painted it with an AMT green lacquer spray paint.

If she doesn't have predators to fend off, outside of loose dogs, she is probably okay for a while. -

Can you find a rescue group in your area? Just a thought. -
It rained late Wednesday into early Thursday, the high was 73 but still sticky. I'm close to a major highway and a piece of pavement on the express lanes buckled on Wednesday, it was fixed yesterday. Today is overcast and 63, the weekend should be tolerable.

I use Ace Hardware paints sometimes. They tend to hold up pretty well.

Yesterday was the hottest so far, 101 on the deck. Humidity around 84%... I did my watering very early. Also some weeding. Whatever is happening, the corn and cucumbers are digging it. Today, 80 and rain which has not cooled things off much. I have to put the air on soon.

I use Tamiya TS-68 often, also Vallejo lack primer and even Mr. Surfacer 1500 black primer. The TS paints don't hold up to much handling. Those I'll shoot some matte clear over.
