  1. How well does it take paint?
  2. I'm looking for a trio of nice hot rod style carbs and stacks. I have nothing decent looking that isn't already in use. Any recommendations?
  3. Thanks Bob. The reason I ask is that I have this kit and although I'm not a huge fan of chopping tops, I thought this one was very well done and aeshetically pleasing. I'll probably give this a shot myself thanks.
  4. Ira, I can't tell you what a warm and fuzzy I get from this build. Of all things I appreciate originality the most, and this is certainly all kinds of original.
  5. I'm enjoying this build. Can you give us a brief explanation of the chop? Maybe show us where you cut?
  6. http://www.plastruct.com/ Seems the obvious source to me.
  7. Very cool! Welcome to the forum!
  8. We have a rule around here............well more of a quideline. Pics or it didn't happen. Welcome to the forum. We look forward to seeing your work.
  9. Keep it going Mike, you are working out all the bugs for me.
  10. Are ya gonna have someone resin cast that baby? I bet that would would interest some people. Hope your wife is doing better.
  11. Okay, a little primer and a mock-up. Headers are going to be a real challenge on this one. I think just some gasser style fenderwell headers will do the trick. Gotta lower the grill/fenders and shorten up the radiator. Pretty sure I'm going to use the top. I am having a great time on this build though.

  14. Thanks Corey, thats what I needed.
  15. Did any of the modern Charger kits come with the rear quarter Super Bee stripes and hood stripe on the decal sheet? Like this? http://2.bp.blogspot...Super-Bee-2.jpg
  16. Easy Dan. Take a deep breath and then read the first post again.
  17. Yep, gotta love matte black. Looking good.
  18. Welcome! Looking forward to seeing your work.
  19. Business as usual John. You never disappoint.
  20. Well ...... yeah. It's about time someone noticed, thanks. Now throw a dark wash on those to match the patina on the body and you'll be set.
  21. A Cowboys fan, I'm guessing. Why two different numbers?
  22. As always it's best to experiment on a plastic spoon in these cases, but I've heard this combo should work for ya. However.......your best bet will always be to use like brands when it comes to primer and paint.
  23. Mmmhhmmm. Good stuff.
