  1. Wow. Very nicely done.
  2. Excellent tutorial thanks very much.
  3. Agreed. Super Clean will handle enamels with no problem. With acrylics and lacquers, sand through to the primer coat in 5 or 6 spots and let the lye in the detergent attack the primer. If it is hobby lacquers sprayed on bare plastic (no primer) you will have to go with 91% isopropyl alcohol.
  4. Honestly 99% of the time I NEVER notice what section a particular thread is in because I use the "view new content" button as do most people I think.
  5. Looks great! Well done.
  6. Wow, that is really impressive. The black stripe down the side trim looks great. Did you use a rapidograph?
  7. Really nice work. I love the color and the attitude.
  8. What are you painting over? I always use a white primer beneath yellow.
  9. In this case I would remove the chrome entirely and then use BMF on the letters.
  10. The Revell 3 window deuces all came with big n little five spokes.
  11. I'll be a regular Bill, thanks for this.
  12. Yeah I think so. I have an even earlier edition of the '31 called Mother's Cherry Pie wagon. It's a mess of flash and badly fitting parts, two piece plastic tires, bad chrome and a multi-part body. I'll be cannibalizing this one for sure.
  13. Cut down the firewall. Took about 3/8 of an inch out of the middle. After some test fitting and study I've decided that the straight axle and 12 spokes aren't gonna work on this one. I'm going to just use some smaller tires and some five spokes a try for a bit of rake.
  14. Thanks James! More soon.
  15. When tropical storm Debbie whipped through my wife found three baby sparrows that had been blown from the nest. These are the two females that lived. As they are now imprinted on my wife, they are now permanent residents. Spaz and Ozzie.
  16. Whoops yer right. My bad. Thanks for catching that.
  17. What blows my mind is I havent seem a single bead of leftover glue or residue? What sort of glue or solvent are you using?
  18. At you age I doubt seriusly the doc will have much problem getting them out. You'll be sore for a few days. I have also heard that orthodontists like pulling them before braces go on to give the other teeth a bit more room.
  19. I would think that or the Revell '65 2+2 would an excellent choice for better parts.
  20. Of course not. But should someone die out there someones gonna be liable. Insisting on a cage, proper racing belts and a helmet at the least would be the smart thing to do.
  21. Looks like you enjoy your toys. Welcome to the forum.
  22. Worked on the part I hate the most about channeling over the frame - altering the interior. All in all this one wasn't to bad. And by the way, aside from that little grill shell/fender do-hickey, that will be it for fenders.
