  1. Looks great, but man having a "nearly done" would kill me. I'd HAVE to finish it.
  2. Yeah well he can keep it. It take 10 minutes to find a thread I'm participated in an hour ago.
  3. A big thank you to all my fellow vets and the families of said vet. "All gave some, some gave all." Rob Mattis U.S. Coast Guard , 2nd class petty officer 1992-2001 Cutters Durable and Northland Florida Air National Guard, staff sergeant 2002-2006 125th Fighter Air Wing
  4. Virgil, I plumb forgot to charge my phone (which has a good camera) the night before, and it was dead on arrival. *facepalm*
  5. I did the Pinellas Park show last Saturday, put on by a east coast group. I'm of two minds on the experience, but I had a good time.

Stu, that really looks good. The decals and foil work are well done and they suit the body color. It's got the right stance. The detail painting looks clean. I think your paint finish could use some improvement, but that could be said for anything I do as well. All in all a great looking build.
  7. Looking good Jim.
  8. Some one please make a decision. Are we whining or not? The suspense is killing me.
  9. MORE MORE!
  10. Very cool idea. What's next?
  11. Sorry Virgil, contest yesterday, birthday party today, and a long work week ahead. Will likely have to wait until next weekend. Sorry.
  12. I would also love to find this in resin, however I don't figure this would be too hard to scratchbuild either. You could probably find a button at a fabric store to start with for that round impeller housing.
  13. Okay you're gonna have to be a little more clear on what problems you're having with the wheels. Trouble adapting them to the kit suspension or.................?
  14. I can't clean my bench in a week, much less build a model. I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
  15. Ditto, and I hope you put a artist signiture on it somewhere, cuz that's art fella.
  16. Yep, I didn't bother with an end date. If this gets so big as to be an issue to Gregg or Harry, we'll work something out then. But so far responce has been luke-warm. I'll keep it going though.
  17. Thanks Mark. This started as just a Stude street machine for a Cannonball CBP, but when I started to do some Google searching on Stude racers I found shots of the Carrera Panamericana Studes that have been so successfull and had to build my own. I have some Carrera Panamericana decals from a diecast 50's Corvette that I'm hoping will do the job. Does anyone know of another kit or decal supplier that does decals for the CP?
  18. Only someone who doesn't know you and your work Bill. Glad to have you along for the ride.
  19. Very cool idea! I wanna see more. What chassis are you gonna put under it?
  20. Thanks everyone for the ataboys. I'll try to get this one done soon. Then I'll get back on my Jolly Roger Merc.
  21. Amazing work.
  22. Very cool. Seriously.
