  1. I say its real. Oh wait............wrong topic.
  2. Every time I spot a kit at a flea market the seller thinks its worth $25+ because the date on the instructions is 1982. Yards sales are another story though.
  3. Nice looking replica of the car in the photo Ron.
  4. Very cool and different! Nice work.
  5. I'm seeing red X's. How about everyone else?
  6. That might remove a lot of material in a real hurry. Maybe for bad sink marks in tough locations? As for the rock tumbler, I can't see it being good for much when it cones to anything as soft as styrene. Maybe for cleaning up parts from metal bodied models (Humbley/Gabriel) or stripping diecasts without using chemicals.
  7. Wow, that is really somerthing else. I'd also like to hear more about what you did in the building of this. Welcome to MCM.
  8. Wow, that is really great looking. I really love Avanti's but there is enough wrong with that kit to keep me from really getting fired up about building one. You did great.
  9. Nice work. I never have known the difference between east and west coast hot rods apart from their geographic locations.
  10. Terry that looks great. Looking forward to it.
  11. Looks like fun. I'll be watching.
  12. Greg, I'm going to add a plate and Carrera Panamericana racing livery. As soon as I get a free day. Thanks for the ataboys guys.
  13. Nick, happy to have you. The Stude is really taking off now. Check out my thread in the workbench section for more pics or here. http://s53.photobucket.com/albums/g73/Jantrix/53%20Studebaker/ Still working on the racing livery decals.
  14. Assembled for the Cannonball CBP and awaiting it's decals for Carrera Panamericana. I'm very happy with how it's turning out. Comments and criticisms welcome.
  15. I love CBP's. They are the best way to get a model accomplished. And Jason does have a point. Forget popularity, start a CBP for whatever build you are fixing to start. It doesn't matter if you have 3 participants or 300. Build what you like.
  16. Two halves of what?
  17. I like it a lot Chuck. Well done.
  18. I suppose it's no shock to see a movie/TV car built box replica stock, but I was actually hoping to see if anyone had built anything wild with the kit.
  19. Well at least that's your plan. We'll have to wait and see how it jives with hers. Those both look great Aaron.
  20. Awesome Terry!
  21. All the time. Nearly everything I build is some sort of kit bash so there is ALWAYS gobs of raided kits than can be combined in other ways.
  22. Thanks guys. I gotta say I'm not interested in building a real Ferrari. So this kit appeals to me. I'm not quite sure how it's gonna be built at this point, but I AM sure I'm gonna do something that 'ol Enzo would not particularly appreciate.
  23. I picked one up in a trade for a group of kits. I've heard all about how it's a kit of a kit car, Corvette running gear and all that, but aside from that it looks pretty nice. Has anyone done anything cool with this kit?
