  1. Mike, great Stangs, welcome to the forum.
  2. Whoa. Those are just fantastic. They look soooo authentic. That '50 is perfect!
  3. That is easily the nicest build up I have seen of the Hudson. Nicely done.
  4. I have had good luck, lightly sanding overspray away with water and some 3600 grit sand paper.
  5. You guys need to get these stalled builds in our "Back on the Bench CBP", and get cracking on them.
  6. Brad ease up. At least Art is trying to get us this info and needs permission to release the photos from the manufacturer. No need to nag the man.
  7. The pic is a little too small to make heads or tails of, so I have no idea.
  8. I have only ever built the Rat Packer Chevy II gasser. But I sure did get the fires stoked to do another. Very close to the top of my next build list is a kit bash of the Revell 1/24 '53 Chevy and the Tom Daniels Monogram Badman '55, with the engine from the Revell '67 Chevelle pro-streeter. It's either going to be a primered up budget racer or a very shiny street freak. I am really looking forward to it.
  9. Looking good!
  10. Off to a great start. I'll be watching this one.
  11. Oh very nice. That looks fantastic.
  12. That is VERY pretty. Great work.
  13. Here's one from me. Over twenty years old. AMT 40 Ford Panel, with Mustang running gear and a gullwinged rear door.
  14. Great ideas and a great start. Knock my socks off Nick!
  15. Yeah man. The only limits you have are what your imagination can cook up.
  16. This is fantastic news. Finally these kits are going to be brought to us by a company that is actually INTERESTED in producing model kits. The same cannot be said of ERTL/RC2.
  17. That's the idea. Community builds are always a good motivator. And as for "get er done", man I hate cliche's. That midget looks fantastic. Well done.
  18. Excuse me Mr. Moderator! We need a clean up on aisle three. Brad, he's a kid. Cut him some slack. I got one that will shoot his mouth off about anything he's heard two facts about. I've tried to break him of the habit by "schooling him" as you put it but it just doesn't take.
  19. Mike, for some reason the Cannonball really brings out the unique builders and I'm real glad you were with us this year. Great build.
  20. Very cool idea with the transaxle.
  21. Whoa. I've never heard of this happening. I'd check the area the model was in for the source of the mold. I'm pretty certain it wasn't the model. And yes, if you are going to remove the paint, anything caustic enough to do so will make short work of the mold as well.
  22. Since this will be open ended I'll be happy to join in, but I won't be starting till some time next year. I have a '69 in the planning stages for a theme build for a contest.
  23. Try carsinbarns.com if you really want to have a good cry.
  24. I have a friend who's big into shooting. He puts his spent cartridges in the tumbler before he reloads them.
