Vettegasser and I have been trading back and forth a bit. We're now on round 2. Got exactly what I wanted. Guess we will keep trading until one of us runs out of kits. Thank you Vettegasser !

Sentence game would be even more fun if we all started using random words Purple monkey dishwasher .

Glory years are what I'm reminded of when I think of high school , but actually remembering those years is kinda hit and miss .

Probably not a good idea to shout "FIRE" in a crowded hobby shop, but it's the only way I can get the good deals before everybody picks them clean.

Somewhere in my pile of research books/ papers I have a newspaper clipping of the native Americans handing the engineers some fish. Apperently that train came through the Dalles Oregon in 1939.

Model Kits in Love's truck stop
Little Timmy replied to RSchnell's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Where is that truckstop located ? -
It's the kind of thing that mechanics love. One little $2 part fails, and you end up paying $ 6000 for repairs.

In Big Bonz Jim's defence, the water department had accidentally ripped out his water line while doing some exploratory digging.

Don't let anybody cheat him out of his birthday ! My sister was born on the 23rd and growing up I always H A T E D trying to explain to her why everybody only gave her 1 gift. My brother and I both made sure she got a birthday present, and a Christmas present. The rest of my cheapskate relatives can take a long walk off a short pier!

Gibson or Fender? Which do you prefer?
Little Timmy replied to Musclecarbuilder's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
In highschool I formed a band. At the time I had a Purple Stratacaster with a White pic guard. I was thrown out of my own band because I sucked. After figuring out how to actually play a guitar , I found myself the proud owner of a Fender Mustang. ( I had loaned a friend some money and he let me hold the Mustang as collateral... he never came back for it. ) I L O V E D that guitar ! I have played a few Gibsons ( a Les Paul, and a flying V ) and I just didn't like the sound of them. I also on occasion borrowed my friends Ovation 6 string bass. I liked it. Around the time my daughter was born I needed money more than guitar's, so I had a " everything must go sale" . I haven't played in over 26 years. -

I drive trucks for a living, so my only interest in the game would be to see how big of a crash I could cause.

"The Seven Trashcans of California" : My Photography
Little Timmy replied to 1972coronet's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
I like your idea. Out here in the middle of nowhere, people are always dumping stuff, including animals ! I won't go into details. ( I really hate humans ! That's how we got our property so cheap. There was 20 tons of garbage on the lot when we got here. So far we have removed 12 tons, and repurpased about 3 tons of sorta usable junk. -

Odd that an airplane has Miller as a sponsor. I've never seen that before so it may be just me.
