  1. Frenzel supercharger: https://www.shapeways.com/product/LL4T3QMAD/frenzel-10-23-15-2-125?optionId=65231815&li=marketplace
  2. Refinements.
  3. A light coat of gray primer to sand and refine the body.
  4. Steve McQueen had one: https://www.velocetoday.com/steve-mcqueens-siata/
  5. None in 1/24 -1/25 but very simple to convert using a Cobra. I've looked seriously at it. The track is identical and wheelbase is only 1/2" difference. Rework grille area and add little fins on the rear. Probably some simple body mods. Uses a Fiat 8V engine, which I've already made - see my "The Supersonic has landed" discussion in the On the Workbench section.
  6. Been slowed down but will post soon.
  7. Thanks to all. Those wire wheels are somewhat time consuming but worth the effort.
  8. Merit's a low bar.
  9. Darn it, Andy, you are going to have to get a CAD program, design and 3D print those superfine detailed parts you make. A great high resolution 3D printer like an Anycubic Photon ( I call it the Ford Model T of 3D printers) is down to $300 shipped. Surely you can slip that by the Minister of Finance?
  10. This Duesenberg Rollston Convertible was mastered and cast by Modelmartin. I've built it as the 1994 Pebble Beach best of show winning car. The rims and hubs were designed by me and 3D printed, then the spokes were hand strung.
  11. Never seen this. Very interesting. Lets see more.
  12. Time to make the bumpers. I'm using what is called high density urethane. It's not high density unless you compare it to styrofoam. I have since gotten some renshape which is twice as dense and will be better suited, but a bit harder to work.
  13. Fits well but needs some refining around the edges.
  14. 550 spyder obtained from the late John Johnson about 15-20 years ago.
  15. Plug, made from epoxy putty, for vacuum forming the rear window. I squish it into the opening, then carve and sand it to shape.
  16. What? What? Beck replica?? You been holding out on us.
  17. Which kit are you considering getting? ACME president Webers has the Aston Martin DB2, the shape of the body is not quite correct. However, I have the 1937 Alfa 2900B and 1927 Renault record car and both are good. If you ever show up at an ACME meeting, we could bring them along.
  18. Nice work!
  19. Rear end looking good.
  20. I continue to hack away at it...
  21. Two cups of java to kick the ol' brain cells into gear and I is crankin'!
  22. Refining the rear.
  23. I'll be watching...
