  1. Well, you know what they say... Tamiya kits practically build themselves, just never knew they do that with the help of those Lego guys... ? Fantastic video, great model! Would love to see more of your creativity!
  2. Many thanks Anders and Chris!
  3. Very nice work as always, Ludwig!
  4. Many thanks guys! Thanks Anton! I had a 540iA myself back in the 90‘s, it was fitted with the 17 inch M wheels that SHOULD have been included in a correct kit of the M5. The color was exactlx the same, Diamantschwarzmetallic (diamant black metallic). Tamiya TS-40 is the perfect fit for that. The wheels are Fujimi aftermarket parts. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/fujimi-19134-brs-mio-18-inch-wheel--1277766 They are a good fit to replicate 18 inch wheels used by German BMW tuner AC Schnitzer.
  5. Excellent model of a beautiful car, great images and a perfectly fitting backdrop!

Great work as usual Anders, phantastic model!
  7. Immaculate build of a great kit! I have mine to do yet, guess it will be in light blue. ?
  8. Looks great!
  9. Very nice build, I like it!
  10. Nice model! These kits are hard to get by nowadays and you rarely see them built. But I like what I am seeing, clean paint and masking job! The color appears somewhat unusual for this (or any) type of old-school MB but it sure looks good, especially with the tan interior!
  11. Many thanks again folks!
  12. Hi Ludwig, another great model from your capable hands! Unusual but nice-looking color combo and great interior details!
  13. Many thanks guys!
  14. Many thanks guys for all your kind feedback. I'm glad you like the color just as I do. Btw, since somebody asked, it is Tamiya TS-59 Pearl Light Red.

    Looks fabulous, great work, Urs!
  16. Many thanks Anders, I appreciate it!
  17. Very nice 'Bird, great build! From the decals I can see that you built one of the latest re-releases of this Monogram kit. I still have an older edition which contained mainly the hood stripes but no interior and Trans Am decals. Definitely need to get my hands on one of those decal sheets to make a nice TA to sit next to my white/ blue 69 TA...
  18. Great job on this, it looks awesome! I did a restoration job on my Fujimi '88 turbo convertible not too long ago (see link below) and I fully agree on the masking... For the fine areas I have switched to using BMF some time ago and the rest I do with Tamiya tape. A lot of work to do really on these Porsche's but if you don't do it properly, it will not look right. Yours DOES look right!
  19. Many thanks, I appreciate it!
