  1. WOW! Nice work!
  2. Very good year Bob!
  3. All good but I really like the 67 Ford!
  4. Beauty! Like that a lot. Well done.
  5. Thank you all! I really appreciate your good comments on this build! In this day of super detailed and accurate type builds it's great to see that this style is still appreciated in our car modeling community. Thanks again!
  6. Thanks again Steve! I'm glad you like what I did with it.
  7. Thanks. To be honest I found that stuff in various vintage kits and parts lots I acquired over the last few years.
  8. VERY COOL! You nailed it. Good to see that version of the classic deuce kit built.
  9. This kit has been a grail of mine for many years and recently I was able to acquire this clean builder. (thank you Steve!) As it arrived in my shop in NW Florida from the UK I had to source a few rare missing parts and was glad to find them. Finished it today, sort of a nostalgic box art type build. Straight out of 1959! Looks great on the shelf with my other vintage Monogram builds.
  10. Hmmmmm..interesting. Hard to tell for sure but the ones in the Chrysler look to be one piece? They sure are nice though...as is most of that kit!
  11. Thanks Bill. I like the Y Job.
  12. You are correct sir! I pulled out my kit and checked and sure enough. I thought I had seen those things somewhere before!
  13. The Pie Wagon has similar but not exact
  14. Without a doubt the AMT '40's are my favorite kits of all time. Here are a few I put together over the many years. Survivor restored with original parts and decals
  15. Considering the origin of this kit and all the great parts and build versions inside, this art falls way short. What were they thinking?
  16. This is so bad it's comical.
  17. I agree with most of the analysis above but I think her real talent was with open wheel racing and she never really made a successful transition into the heavier stock cars. Perhaps she will find her place again at Indy in '18. Good luck.
  18. Nice! I like all the subtle body mods, paint and tail lights. Well done!
  19. I agree 100% with all the above excellent choices especially the Doan Spencer roadster but me as far as Dueces go it would be the Joe Nitti roadster, Truly a classic and timeless build. In other words to me this car is just right. That said, for full fenders. this 57 Ford really does it for me Again, to my completely untrained eye, this car is timeless
  20. I think this kit still has great bones. I built this one from the yellow with black flame issue around 1989 when the only other Deuce choice was from AMT More recently I did this one from the blue on the box Classic Cruiser issue I have plans for a few more. Very versatile kit IMHO
  21. I'll second that one. Sort of like was done with the Blue "Bandito"
  22. Same thing here . I posted on this topic back in April here:
