  1. Which one did you get, Harry? I still have a few of them.
  2. The body and paint work look awesome!! Both colors are GREAT!!
  3. Ismael, That is my absolute favorite paint scheme for those cars!! Hey, maybe we should do a racing Vette pickup painted in those colors?! Keep us posted on your progress,
  4. Bill, That is really coming along nicely!! Are you going to bring it to Sacramento this weekend?
  5. Bill, I'll check with Jerry. I've got a pretty long list of "honey do's" but I might be able to get out on Saturday or Sunday...If I do, I'll bring the Stylus. Regards,

  7. That's coming along nicely, Brendan!! Are we going to see that one finished by the NNL West?
  8. I agree with Robert, that's a really nice collection of classics you've got going there!!
  9. Robert, Thanks for convincing me to get rid of the old Camaro wheels. You're right, they just don't look as well as the Ts do on that big of a car. Last night I lowered the rear enough that I think the 22" T's actually look OK. I'm going to hold off on lowering the front until I give the 19" T's a test fit to see if I like the "big-n-little" look on this one. Here's how it looks now with the 22's F&R and the rear lowered, as compared to before: I think for now that I'm going to polish and BMF the body and maybe finish the interior while I wait for the other wheels. At least that way I'll be making some progress on this old dog and I'll be less likely to get tired of messing with it and put it all back in the box for another day... Regards,
  10. Thanks, Steve! I've ordered the 19" wheels from the LHS. I've also lowered the rear about as low as it will go without the axle sitting on the frame rails and it still looks a little tall in the rear to me. I'll check on those bigger tires. I've never bought Pegasus stuff before, so I didn't know that they offered different sized tires. Regards,
  11. Nope!! Not tired of seeing it!! The engine and interior is looking great!! Keep up the good work and the posts!!
  12. Thanks, Gray!! I already ordered a set from the LHS. I'll take you up on your offer if they can't get me a set quickly. I also chopped and hacked away at the rear suspension and braking system last night. I got the rear end lowered way down and switched it from drum to disc brakes. Those bigger wheels really need a disc behind them to look right. I'm going to wait until I get the other wheels and tires befor I do anything else to it. I going to try Harry's idea and see how it looks with just the smaller wheels. Those 22s are pretty close to being classifies as Donk wheels.
  13. Awesome job, Dave!! The paint, decals and all of the details look GREAT!!
  14. Very nice, Chris!! The color combination looks great!! It's been a long time since I built a Ferrari myself, so I bought the Tamiya FXX with the PE kit yesterday while I was at the LHS. I'm going to start on it later this week once I finish a couple of other things I'm working on. Keep up the good work and the posts,
  15. Thanks, Randy!! I'm going to try the smaller Ts in the front, but I'm also going to have to lower the rear a bit. I'd really like to get it as close to your Pontiac in stance and height as I can without putting too much more work into what was supposed to be a finished chassis. I don't ever want to be accused of building the dreaded "D" word!!
  16. Or a teal 57 Chevy convertible, a green 53 Chevy pickup... The CMC models are truly works of art. The only reason I've stayed away from them is because I'm keeping my collection to 1/24th and 1/25th for space reasones...but they sure are tempting... Some of the DM special and limited edition stuff might be interesting. They typically sell for just under $150. Regards,
  17. For that project, I was thinning the plastic from the back-side to show someone how to create realistic rust holes using the Dremel to thin the plastic, then an X-ACTO to pick through. Regards,
  18. Eric, Nothing says rat like tape on the seats!! (except maybe a spring or two poping out!! ) All you need now are a few french fry and burger wrappers on the floor!! (Yes, I have those, too). Keep us posted on your progress,
  19. Yep, I noticed them!! Nice touch!!
  20. That's coming along very nicely, Tom!!
  21. Amazing detail and workmanship, Bill!! Thanks for sharing and keep up the posts!!
  22. Rollin, The Monte Carlo roof on the Cutlass looks really good!! Great idea!! I can't wait to see how that one turns out!!
  23. That's all I needed to hear to make me want to lower it to the weeds!! The word "Donk". Ouch!! Next time you guys see a picture of this thing it'll be draggin' the ground!! Thanks for all of the input,
  24. Rollin, I'm going to buy the smaller set of wheels to see how they look. If I like them then I'll have a spare set of big-n-littles. If not, I'll have a spare set of smaller diameter wheels... Either way I can't loose because I really like the look of the Chrome Ts. I really like the stance of Randy's '58 Pontiac, so there's a pretty good chance that I'm going to lower the rear at least a little bit. The 22" wheels kicked it up a bit higher in the back than I wanted. I'd be really happy if the smaller front wheels get it down where I want it without having to mess with the front suspension, which WAS/IS already finished. Anyway, thanks for all your help and advice,
  25. Thanks, Jonathan! Yes, after comparing it side-by-side in the photos with Randy's Pontiac, it was really obvious to me what I want to do with it. I just thought that I'd throw it out there to see what you and the others thought. I'm pretty sure that Randy will say to drop it to the ground as well...
