Continuing my series of 1/24 scale Transformers characters, I present Generation 1 Kup! The body is a 3D printed piece I drew up, everything else is scratch built or heavily modified to fit. He was designed to go with the Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime figures I currently have, which are more or less 1/24 out of the box: For anyone familiar wih the franchise, a scene inspired by the 1986 movie:

EL wire might be an option, especially for making a diorama out of it. Doing that really deserves a full lighting kit for the car, too...and down the rabbit hole we go!

Yes, I used the CD3-058 Silverado grille from Canuck 3D Model Parts. It dropped right in and had great detail.
