Bad thing about it in the winter it usually is between 30 and 50 in the plant.They have to circulatethe air to keep the lead in the air down so the fresh air we do get comes straight from the roof and it runs in the 100's in the summer and that air feels cool when we can be around it.

I work in a place that gets to 140 while wearing a respirator so 105 outside feels laike a cool day. By the way 140 and no fans or outside breezes are allowed in the plant. As mater fact all doors have to be kept shut.

Well I got back in the hobby back in the late 80's and early 90's building just NASCAR. then when I joined a club i got into everything but now I have been getting rid of the NASCAR and anything newer than the 70's stuff. Been building street rods mostlya dn now mostly doing mild to replcas of 50's and 60's customs.

My hoses accept the standard quik connects for air hoses. i have a Iawata , badger, and paasche airbrushes and they all accepted the chucks. All of mine did come with the braided hoses though.Last time I checked Hobby Lobby had the ones for a paasche and the Iawata for around $15

Supose to be 108 here today been in the 100's all week. Will be 130 at the plant with weather like this.

I just use Super clean it take the chrome and the clear undercoat off.

That wet Look Clear will Spray right over that enamel and if you have gotten the new Model Cars Mag there is an article about this very subject.

I just had to replace my Cmpbell Hausefeild 3 gallon one That I bought over 10 years ago. It was loud but not to bad a room away. I went in and bought a 2 gallon one from Menards for around $70. It isn't that loud and doesn't bother my wife one room away when it is running. I tried one of those aircompressors designed just for airbrushes and I didn't like the pulsing it created even with a regulator on it last six months befroe it shot the craps on me. I think I paid $150 for it. That was over 20 years ago. would rather have one with a tank anyway. Mine came witha regulator and I did buy a moisture trap but never put it on as mine being in the house never gets moisture in it. Alos it only comes on maybe once when I paint the body of a car. I also have a manifold so I can hook up 4 airbrushes at the same time and all are hooked up with regular airhose fittings.

First i check the shipping cost and if it is reasonable then i pur in my max bid and don't look at it again. if i win well okay but if I loose I know I will find one later on.

I'll propably be at work and both my kids are home this weekend. so will spend some time with them. Not much as my brother in laws funeral is tomorrow and that comes first.

I have done this quit often. I also consider if I can resale it when I do that. Most of My impulse buying has been sold for double of what I paid for it.

These are painted with Testors Gloss black then shot with the Spaztix chrome. Look better than the Alclad I did on them the first time.

Used to be if you had the other Mag send you stuff to give away at model car shows they gave you all theose books to give away. Haven't had them do that for over 5 years now as they pissed me off and never asked them again so don't know if they still do that.Of course I got That stuff about 5 years ago and gave it to the club to give away and when it came time to set up for the show all the books had disappeared club members told me the books weren't in the box but I knew better as I had taken an enventory of the box before I took it down for the contest.

I have used it just to make boots on spark plug wires. Dipped the wire in the stuff let it set up and trimmed it uphere needed
