  1. I use the Paasche H and the VL, I would forget using the #1 set up, and go to for the #3 instead, for some paints like synthetic enamel I've had to go to the #5 set up.
  2. Yes, https://www.amazon.co.uk/Butyl-Cellosolve-2-butoxyethanol-Purity-500ml/dp/B00CF2JMDM
  3. No, for that, you need to bottle with the orange top
  4. For some reason I totally forgot about SpotModel, I deal with them quite regularly, always received nothing but first class service.
  5. There's a few hobby stores here in the U.K.that stocks them, sadly most won't ship overseas, try a search for hobby stores in Hong Kong, when i was there last year I bought some Tamiya lacquer thinners and Mr Hobby lacquer paints and had them ship them back home as there was no way I could take them with me on the flight back home.
  6. I've got another one of these on the way to me from a friend in France, I know there was never a Copo Nova with the 427 engine,I'm thinking I really want to pop in a straight 6 cylinder engine, is there a kit out there that I could use for the engine ?? Failing that, is there something available in resin ??
  7. Superb build, what's not to like.....
  8. I made one sometime ago, as usual I slightly went OTT, but at least it never falls over
  9. You're not on your own, if the American version had featured on the programme, I probably wouldn't have asked about it.
  10. The paint cupboard is overflowing.....
  11. As Model Master paints will be impossible to find this side of the pond very soon, I thought I'd stock up on a few colours.
  12. Another superb build from you Dann.....
  13. Didn't turn out too bad, well worth all the effort masking up the door panels....
  14. There's a few decal sets out there, although I'm not sure if you can get the exact one's you're after https://www.spotmodel.com/product_info.php?products_id=16112&language=en
  15. Looking great, what wheels did you use ??
  16. Comes close to one I made to hold the roof rack
  17. This afternoon was spent airbrushing the clearcoat on the Revell Golf GTi, a few tiny dust nibs to sort out, nothing major, it will be wet sanding and polished after it's dried up.
  18. This one has been fighting me, it tried again today, just finishing off the last coat of clearcoat and then something landed on it, so a quick wet sand, thankfully round 2 went to plan, it will now be left to dry off while I get some clearcoat put on the Golf, then I can start the polishing.
  19. Masked the interior side panels so that the satin black could be airbrushed, now I just need to mask off the interior door handles so that they can be airbrushed in light gloss grey
  20. I really need to make a database on the computer to log my model stash, ordered this last night from a hobby shop in Germany, only to find out this morning I've alread got one in the stash.....
  21. Got another AMT 56 T-Bird on it's way from across the pond....
  22. Another superb build from you....
  23. I'm loving that colour, I now know what colour I'll be painting my 69 Camaro
  24. Try adding more thinners, with a 0.2 needle you might have to go 70:30 or even more.
  25. You're going to need an airbrush with a slightly bigger needle set up than 0.2 to paint car bodies if you're after a smooth glossy finish, 0.2 is great for small details.
