Not at all, I was focusing on the part i wanted to emphasise, some have the front grille out of focus while the front windshield is in focus, I could have stopped down the aperture and got everything in focus, but decided to try some selective focus shots.

Looks like you need to sand down those mold lines on the roof panel.

I have family down that way in Downend, Bristol

A few things drive me crazy on models, wonky wheels and mirrors that are not in line, I'm always making jigs to hold parts in place while the glue dries up, here I'm using slow setting epoxy, as it was the only strong glue I had that dries crystal clear.

Good to hear that it's going to be based on the Tamiya Beetle, I've got one in the stash that I wasn't sure what to do with, I've already built one many years ago, I'll be building mine in the same fetching colour of beige, the same as the one owned by a family friend owned in southern Spain back in the 1970's

That one is available over here now, around £30.00

Welcome aboard Peter, where abouts in England are you?? Like you, I got into the 1/10th R.C stuff in the early 1980's, even became a member of the Beatties Racing team, but other things and time restraints got in the way, then got back into plastic modelling. (1/24 &1/25th scale).

I've done it a few times, works very well, sometimes I use Tamiya's triangular cotton buds dampened with a little lacquer thinners.

Another kit I sold on last year, another one I really should have kept, luckily I've just tracked down another, and this one is factory sealed.

Outstanding work, what's not to like.....

Apparently getting the Christmas tree sorted and hanging all the decorations was more important than modelling.....

I was hoping to get this one finished over the weekend, I did find time to fit the door handles, and today I've started on the decals, I still haven't decided which accent stripes to fit yet, white or black, and as they were a $29.50 option, I'm leaving them off until I decide which colour to go with, or if I'm going to use them at all.
-
I very much doubt it, I never got one for my photography work.

Superb build, love the colour combo' very hard to get white not looking "Toy like" but you pulled it off....

Black wash added to the grilled on the hood, Rear trim fitted, Hopefully I'll get this one finished over the weekend, just two exhaust tips, two door mirrors, and two door mirrors to fit, plus the decals to apply.

End caps fitted, a few drops of epoxy resin held them in place, followed by some UV resin on the inside.
