That should work. This is some .048” soft steel wire that I just did a quick test on.

Do you have a bench vise? You could possibly squash that wire with it, or maybe even flatten it with a small hammer? Alternately you could drill a small chunk of styrene stock to accept the wire and mount it to the trunk lid.

What is the purpose of this block? bolted to the pinion snout on this Mustang Super Stallion differential? Just curious.?

Bic lighters and evergreen rod.? I’m building an exhaust system and the Bic lighters I have don’t have a strong enough flame to be used at any angle other than vertical. I had to light round toothpicks to get a little heat (that worked pretty good?) for localized adjustments in place. AND the Evergreen rod I’m using isn’t always “solid”….it has some voids in the center.?

Thanks. I just found it from googling the cast. Serpico must have been 1973. I thought a lot of the cars were newer than ‘73. Edit: Duh…the funny car is newer than that.

Anyone know the name of this movie from 1973? I only caught the last 1/2 hour or so and the guide had it listed as Serpico.?
