  1. That is really nice.
  2. Nice build. I remember a copper colored one around town years ago.
  3. That looks great Lee.
  4. Nice build Steve. It's a hard kit to locate.
  5. Thank you Gareth. It was Duplicolor Desert Sand Mica. ?
  6. I'll have to look for this as the regular Duplicolor Clear Coat I bought wasn't any good. It looked just the same before and after I sprayed it. Then I tried the Rustoleum Acrylic clear coat. That looked better. The disaster hit. LOL
  7. Not today but the other day. My Comet. Thought I'd try the chrome pen this time instead of foiling. Back in the stripper tank. The 166 Nova. Sprayed the clear coat. Looked great except for the one tiny piece of dog hair. Tried to get it out with tweezers. Scraped it accidentally and the paint removed to the bare plastic. I tried to mask it off to touch it up but that didn't work well. Back in the stripper. These 2 are really getting on my patience.
  8. This came today and it does have the missing Falcon parts. And some more for the Tempest and Bonneville convertible. And instructions for all three.
  9. Thanks Carl. ?
  10. Really sharp looking.
  11. Really sharp looking
  12. Beautiful Tom.
  13. OK. After weeks of the Comet and the Nova soaking in the Purple Pond. I primed them and then sprayed the Duplicolor Black paint. Looked good. Then I sprayed the Duplicolor Clear Coat and they look like BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH. But I will build them and coat them in Pledge Revive which I always used. Done with clear coating.
  14. Thank you Larry.
  15. That's sad. I'll remember this Ray.
  16. And thank you Bob, Tom, Chaz, James, David and Rusty. I appreciate it.
  17. Wow Tommy. Yours is way better than mine. It's beautiful. I didn't clear coat mine because I'm not doing well with that. I have to Revive it yet. And hand are too shaky to do the 50 on the side.

  19. Picked these up today at our New Ollies in Johnstown NY. Well stocked with car and truck kits. Might go back tomorrow to see if I missed anything. A bit bummed because I bought the 1969 GTX only to find I have the same kit with different box art. The single pic is the one I already had. I really hate that they change the box art but they are the same models. Over and over again.
  20. Thanks Tom.
  21. Cool.
  22. Thank you Michelle, Ray and J. Pierre. These Snaptite kits are easy and can be made to look pretty nice. A break from painting and fiddling with all the more intricate kits.
