BTW it was the first test session for F1. It was really good to see Massa at the top of the time sheets. MS did pretty good too for being out for how many years, ended up 3rd. I think that is going to be the fight right there. Ferrari - Massa Mercedes - Schummi

Not too sad for Brumos. The Action Express car was under the Brumos umbrella, so it was like a win for Brumos car 59. I think it may have had something to do with running the V8. Brumos is factory backed and they probably said no so they formed a sub-team Action Express to run the V8 Porsche car with cause too much stir at the factory, well, until now. Now that they won.... who knows what might happen.

More toy than model. I don't know why all the good Group 5 cars are formerly electric motor kits, like Tamiya's 935. The body detail is good. The chassis and interior has lots to be desired. I am not dissapointed, I kind of knew that is what it was. Hobby Lobby has them and I would get a 40% off coupon for it, but frankly it's not worth the $35 retail price. But it is the only game in town so if you want one, short of going to a resin kit, that is it. It's in the booth now. I sure do hate painting white cars though.

Mostly you will have to look at the high end resin kits, like Model Hiro. The Audi R10 TDI is the only plastic one I can think of.

Funny how fast things change a Daytona. They led for a while dropped back to 9th got to the lead again, dropped back running 4th. TRG needs to catch that Pontiac Camaro.

So I just heard from reliable sources that the USF1 car will not be ready for the official test session. They will have a car there but it's a "show" display car. In addition, they said they (USF1) has a 0% of making the first race. The rumor is that there driver has paid more than $400,000 a race to drive the car for 16 of 19 races.

It is not looking so good for USF1. They have money problems. The still do not have a second driver, the only diver they did get had to come with at least 8M, no reserve - test driver, no major sponcer, bits of a car but no complete car, no engine deal, they said they would do their own mixer, and they are running out of time.
