Are there colors that you always have on hand? I have been collecting kits over the years but haven't had a place to build. Now that I do, I am slowly starting to build up my supplies and I'm trying to figure out which colors I should probably have at all times. My stash has muscle cars, trucks, street rods, F1 cars, and road race cars. Any suggestions?

I'm sure I paid between $150 to $200 for the '04 version. I bought the '04 because Autoart did not offer the '03 in gray. Now, all these years later, I really want a truer representation of my actual car. It was shocking to see the prices listed on Ebay. I will keep checking the listings to try to find a good deal. Are the Autoart latemodel Mustang Mach 1's regarded highly enough that they bring $200-300? I bought the 2004 version in Dark Shadow Gray when they were in production. I inquired about this kit back in October and was told that it is not currently in production. I haven't checked back to see if that has changed.

Thank you for the information. I have a 14 month old son, so the chance to travel to other areas is limited right now. But I will keep my eyes open for show dates as he gets older. I live about 25 minutes from Richmond Raceway so I would have probably been able to get there for a couple of hours.

When I was a youngster, a neighbor had one that was a light blue with white interior. I thought it was very sharp.

Yeah, it's pretty basic. I will do a little detail painting to try to make it look less like a cheap diecast. It surprises me that there has never been a plastic kit.

Has anyone seen or bought or know anything about these? It is a metal body glue/snap/screw together kit. Doesn't seem to be very detailed. I don't know when I bought it; I found it after unpacking things from a recent move.
