Revel email color - air brush
stinkybritches replied to Starter77's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I can't really offer any help but I did find this for people that haven't heard of the Revell line of paints. -
The rear kind of looks like a mix of '69 and '70.

I never got a chance to see it in person. I'm currently building that kit. Started it many years ago. Had the bright idea to paint it black. I don't know what I was thinking.

Looks really nice. I had a '90 Super Coupe. I loved that car until everything went to heck in about a six week time period.

I didn't know that Ernie Ervin kit existed.

My new Mustangs were never my daily drivers but the '93 was pushed into service for a while. I currently have an '03 Mach 1 that I bought new in Oct. 03. I'm never selling it. It will be my son's when I pass away. I can't wait to raise him on Mustangs like my father did with me.

You must not have driven the snot out of it, I don't see a mention of a broken drivers side seat back. ? I've owned three Fox bodies. The first two were bought new, 1986 GT and 1989 LX 5.0. These two were in really good shape when I sold them as I didn't really beat on them too much. I bought a used '93 GT that had everything worn out that gets worn out when someone drives it to hell and back. It was a fun car though, even used up.

Hobby Lobby re-opening
stinkybritches replied to Mike999's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
There are 3 Hobby Lobbys within 45 minutes of my house in the Richmond, VA area. Only one of them is open, running reduced hours and days. Naturally it's the one farthest away from me. -
Yeah, I felt like it looked more like a 289 than a 427. My wife said there were more on the shelf, so I am thinking of going and getting another one and adding it to the projects I will probably never get to.

Great looking car/guitar.

My wife bought this yesterday at Walgreens. She said it was on clearance for $5. This is not my photo but it is the car.

"Bring Out Your Dead" Completion Build--ROUND 2 Is On!
stinkybritches replied to Snake45's topic in WIP: Model Cars
I got a bit of painting done on the interior of the Cobra R. Unfortunately, I had some primer that went on like truck bed liner so I have to do those parts again. -

I've not got as much done as I had hoped at this point. I have managed to get everything primered that wasn't already painted. I'm really liking the Tamiya Fine Surface primer. -

Anyone Order Paint from Summit?
stinkybritches replied to JollySipper's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I usually just add stuff to my cart and then calculate shipping with my zip code. The shipping was $10.99 for me in Va. ( 4 cans ) for the DupliColor Perfect Match spray cans. Usually spending over $100 will get you free shipping. I've ordered plenty of parts from them over the years, but haven't ordered paint. -
Fortunately/unfortunately nothing has changed for me. Fortunate because my wife and I are still working. Unfortunate because we have a 15 month old son that I was looking forward to getting to spend a lot of time with. My wife is a registered nurse for the VA hospital in Richmond, VA and I work for a small chemical manufacturer. So, no extra time to do anything fun.

Not today but within the last week. Jimmy Flintstone chopped 53 Ford and a few goodies from action-modeler.
