  1. Every time I've used future over enamel it spiderwebs regardless of how many years the paint has dried. DONT DO IT
  2. Give carrera time, they will be back
  3. I vote for the vicky, as I'm keen to a lesser common body style of a common model. You've done done great work and have inspired me for a shadow box of my own. I'm excited for the next update!
  4. 62 Catalina, 66 Riviera, 60 Chevy pickup, and 67 Impala SS build nice straight from the box.
  5. The 90s is alive and well. Great build you have there
  6. Awesome!
  7. I'm not sure if there is a real definition or not But to me a hot rod is more geared towards drag racing but still a streetable car A street rod has hot rod components and appeal but more of it geared towards a more comfortable ride and creature comforts like AC and power windows. Looks like a hot rod but drives nice
  8. Overall it doesnt matter because all big block chevys use the same block and same heads appearance wise. In 1:1 you cant really tell between them without checking casting numbers. Same goes for small block chevys, same block, same heads in appearance
  9. If the nose had been left stock I'd say that was a factory built car. I love how you incorporated the rear spoiler instead of smoothing over like a typical wagon would be
  10. Shes delightful. A fine build sir

  13. Hey that looks great! I always considered building one of these but never made the purchase
  14. Shes a dangerous machine for sure! The numbered doors were a great touch
  15. Woohoo! Long roof muscle is where it's at. Great job on this conversion
  16. That is spot on!
  17. My favorite year Dodge pickup, you did a great job on it. I'd drive it like I stole it
  18. That is really cool! Good stance and musclerod execution
  19. 70s land yacht faux muscle cars is one of my favorite subjects! I would be very proud of this one
  20. I'll try to make this one, only an hour drive for me
  21. That chameleon paint can be tricky to pull off in scale. I think you nailed it!
  22. That's one of the purdiest 67s I've seen on here. Your choice of color and execution has renewed my interest in this kit. Hats off to you sir!
  23. Gorgeous! At first I thought the design in the middle of the seat was a bowtie with a slash across it lol. Kudos on the real wood bed too I'm inspired to do this on a future build
  24. Interesting tip! Do you think they have enough stretch to be used as pulley belts?
  25. Hi all, I've tried this stuff over and over and never get good results. I've brushed and dipped painted bodies in future and after it dries it cracks all over like spider webs. At first I thought I wasnt letting my paint cure enough and it was out gassing through or having a reaction. A while back I brushed a body painted back in 2010 or so and it looked great for a couple weeks then cracks all over. Very dissapointed that happened. So far I've used it over testors enamel and rustoleum enamel. Maybe once over krylon fusion? What is the problem? Does future only work over acrylics and lacquers or what? Funny thing is I use future on clear parts all the time and never a problem so I know it's something with the paint. Any thoughts?
