  1. Thanks Al! To your question: "strange things, strange things" I suppose... CT
  2. Thanks David! The paint gave me major problems, all of my fault. 10 days before the pics, the finish looked like a dry raisin. I needed all my resolve to "save" it instead of just stripping it and starting again. I'd say it's a 7.5 out of 10. Oh well... CT
  3. Thanks Ulf! Yes, those JOHAN kits! I hesitated to strip and mold the bumpers in a mono-chrome manner, but sanity prevailed: after all, it was the 70's, and chrome was still a feature of luxury cars! CT
  4. Thanks Robert! Same here. One of my neighbours had a 1970 when it came out. For a teenager, that car made a strong impression, as the 67 Eldo did. I guess my subconscious was at work here... CT
  5. underdog distinctive strategy?
  6. Thanks Ricky! I try to improve my interiors over time: my favorite challenge! CT
  7. Hi Bruce! Grrrrrrrrrreat build, and the finish is up to your standards, bravo! I have some of this SEM trim black, but never tought of tryin it on a model. Now, I will! CT
  8. Thanks Guido! Well, it,s one of the consequences of this unusual design, isn't-it? LOL. CT
  9. Thanks Samuel! And also THANK YOU for the many generous reports you make on model shows. Much appreciated here! CT
  10. Thanks Oliver! Some fellow modelers at show notice that I mostly use LIGHT colors for my interiors. It's true (and predictable, sorry!) but a closed car with a DARK interior hides so many details that I did it only once, and had my lesson! LOL. CT
