  1. Thanks Mathias! Well, just an old retired guy with too much time on his hands. Besides, I prefer building models to working around the house! Oooooops, here's my wife... CT
  2. Thanks Bob! Well, if I was 10 years younger, I might try... CT
  3. Hi Bruce! Sweet, quite the looker, bravo! The hex fittings under the hood are very convincing! CT
  4. Hi Sir! Tamya has an acrylic in its X line (the small jars) that's called GOLD LEAF. Depending on the color of primer that's underneath, you may get a satisfactory result. And of course, they also have COPPER, slightly darker. Maybe a mix of both to suit your fancy? CT
  5. Thanks David! And it's all GM, for the purists... LOL CT
  6. Thanks Michelle! Happy you like it. I know you too are a passionnate modeler. CT
  7. Thanks Greg! The rear wheel openings are fully open on the 70 Toro, so why not take advantage of it for large dismeter hoops? CT
  8. Hi! I was blessed to find a complete Johan 70 Toronado kit, and couldn't wait to turn it into a two-seater contemporary touring car. So... Scratchbuild a plaform and interior, with the front & rear mechanical components of a Z06 Vette, with the rolling stock from Snap Fast Concorde slammer, and seats from Revell's Escalade. Inverted hood, roll-bar, multiple speakers, and a console with shifter and hand brake straddling a floating tube linking the engine and rear transaxle. Custom cherry candy with Mr.Hobby Premium top coat clear. Multiple ancilary components (brakes, headers, etc) scratchbuilt for the occasion. Ah, those JOHAN kits!
