  1. Good lookin' little hot rod, Bill. We just need to see some more pics...
  2. Thats a nice little coupe, Steven. Thanks for sharing.
  3. Very nice work, Steven. The double T kit is just about my favorite, and youre doing a nice job of it. Anxious to see it completed.
  4. Thanks, guys, for the nice comments...
  5. Thanks, guys. Jim, I didnt have any usable BMF, so I "molded" the side trim to the body. Its just a sculpture line now. LOL

    40 Ford

First saw one of these done about 50 years ago. Always planned to do one myself. So I finally got around to cutting off this top. Not a convertible, just topless. Havent found a mirror yet, and havent made sun visors yet, but its mostly done.
  7. Beautiful Hudson, Art. Looks great!
  8. In the original issue, there were four clear 3-d panels, each with the impression of one of the Beatles. These were even deep enough to act as molds for plaster or whatever medium. Also included in the kit were four color pics of the guys that fit into the frames. The flowery things are the "feet" for the panels so they could be stood up. Sort of like a room divider configuration.
  9. Thats a great job on the wooden floor. Great idea, Bob...
  10. Really nice looking T. I love these things. Have a stash of the kits and parts. You did a great job. I believe that rear axle on the real thing is not centered to allow suspension travel. I think the kit is right. And, correct me if Im wrong, but the nickel plating started in 26, I think. Its good to see a stock build here. Thanks for sharing...
  11. Wow! thats one heavy-duty buggy! I like it. Great looking ride...
  12. I found Kens book on Amazon for a good price. Just received it, and am enjoying it a lot. Although the info may be a bit dated, Im glad to have it as a reference. Lots of good ideas and great pics, Thanks Ken, and I think your Arcade project is just unbelieveably great.
  13. cool little sled. looking good. like the roof and the color. youre doing great...
  14. Great little hotrod! verrrry cool lookin ride...
  15. im pretty sure they were 1/12 scale
  16. I guess AMT's Trophy Series is my favorite from over the years, and Revells 32's are certainly great newer material for the hot rodders among us along with their Model A's. But we cant forget Monogram. Their early, simpler models gave a lot of us the encouragement to go ahead cause they were easy to build. And then, their great race cars later. The pro-stocks, funnies, dragsters, sprints, and NASCARs, still rather simple design, but with great looking results.
  17. oh man! im falling out of my chair! LOL love the deathray and the antigrav collar...hey anything with puppies is cool...thanks...
  18. Dave, that is one great looking Plymouth. Really like the paint. Can you tell me the brand and color name? Ive gotta get some of that. Thanks.
  19. The tall T kit also includes purple tinted glass in addition to the clear, and tampo printed whitewall tires and slicks for the rod version. Tires are nice.
  20. has not set their status

  21. What a beautiful car! Love the styling you did. This is not an easy car to customize, but you got it just right. And your modelling skills are way up there. Thanks for sharing this one.
  22. Yes, there is a stock pickup bed, and also a shortened pickup bed with cover for the rod version of the roadster. The tailgate fits either of these boxes. Also included is the turtle deck.
  23. As Art told us some time ago, the tall coupe never had a really accurate stock interior. The seat with the gas tank in it was correct for the roadster. It was just a make-do for the stock height coupe. It's just not the right shape. Steve
  24. The original issue came with steel wheels and full moon covers. The next versions had the mags instead. Im happy this kit is back in original form. But it might have been a better idea to do the coupe with a stock height roof like someone else mentioned. Its very easy to chop the stock one. Harder to add to the chopped one. Steve
