  1. I'd be even more surprised if anyone that mattered at GM cared…. They probably see it as potential units not sold. They hate guys like him.
  2. I can't see them NOT doing an AAR….
  3. I hate Facebook, but I'm headed over…...
  4. Aside from the new releases, there's a ton of re-issued stuff that presses my "I gotta have it or I'll die" button. Right now I need a '61 Falcon ASAP.... ?
  5. That's actually pretty cool. Nice way for the family-man Hot Rodder to go on a family road trip in style!
  6. Seriously, just send me a PM asking for money and I'll give you some. I'll also give you my address. PLEASE get these out there!
  7. NICE!!!!!!!!! Good luck with the Challenger Bill!
  8. Aside from the grills being different, what else distinguishes the 60 from 61 model years from each other? I've seen nicely cast '60's, so-so '61's (at least the one I saw....). I'm going to need a '61 Falcon soon. PM me if anyone can help besides with information. Thanks!
  9. I picked up an ION Air Sport and mounted it to the head rest support on my Wife's side with the camera between our shoulders looking at the dash, hood, and the road. Always running whenever I have the 'Cuda out..... ?
  10. My Wife, her (very generous) Mother, and my best friend all made gift-card contributions from either American Express or JEGS. Next week I order the rear disc brake conversion, line-loc, and 15/16" Wilwood 4-wheel disc master cylinder for the Barracuda. Between that and the custom LED tail lights I'm building and Halogen H-4 headlights that are going in it looks like all safety upgrades for the Hot Rod this year. ?
  11. Welcome back Wayne. Great project, unusual design.... in a good way! I'm back into the hobby about 3 winters now after a10+ year break myself. Enjoy! And don't forget, we love pictures! ?
  12. Is that the Hasegawa kit?
  13. Wow! Nice clean build, great window frame detailing! Awesome stance!
  14. Thanks Ron. It's refreshing to see someone give a well earned " atta boy " to someone who "get's it". Altered States you say?
  15. One of Ross' resin 440 with a set of long rams. Amazing detailing….. Ross' 340-6 Bbl. with the correct previously mentioned 68-specific water pump.
  16. My Boss was blown-away by it……..
  17. I'll cut right to post #68 and say "Same church, different pews". Now go build sumpthin…..
  18. I wish the year was right…. I wanted to basically slam it together without getting too "involved" and let me tell you, THAT was a modeling challenge unto itself! There's more wrong with this build (aside from calling it a Surburban…) than right, but for a casual shelf piece to represent our truck is close enough. But I still had to stop myself from drilling holes in the doors for a set of handles from the Galaxie kit. And mirrors. And wipers….and fix the windshield…. I'm being open and honest, it WAS a challenge to stop at the "$10 die cast" level of detail without trying to over do it. But I show a co-worker a picture of it earlier and he was impressed. And he painted the actual vehicle! But stopping just when I was getting started was tough…..
  19. Ya 'kno..... I should have caught myself on that, but my boss is always referring to it as the Surburban. My bad! I'm a Mopar guy playing with GM's. Bad stuff happens sometimes. ? Thanks for the compliments guys!
  20. Here's the quickie-build of my Bosses GMC Surburban. e-Bay die cast, HOK pearl orange, gloss black, wheels & tires from a Galaxie `48 Chevy. I had a business card blown up and cropped as a back-drop for the display case at Staples. I'm calling this one done.
