Very nice job Robert on one of my favorite cars. As for the foil, I have commented on numerous posts about the bad foil as of late. If it's tearing easily tho, it sounds like you are using the thinner Ultra Chrome.

I PM'd you Buddy but here again for anyone else to consider. I brush a coat of Future (yep I still have plenty of the old stuff) over the foil to seal it. It doesn't effect the shine or the clear over the base paint. It works.

As Mark said, the BMF just ain't what it used to be. It should'nt pull of by just touching it after its burnished down. It's what I've been saying, the adhesive sucks now. Anyway Bob, I'm very impressed at your results as I know you are a newcomer to the BMF world. Now I'm going to finish up the BMF on the '57.
