  1. Thanks Tim, great pictures....some interesting subjects for model builds?
  2. Looks great Miles and the "chrome" trim.....wow!! Looking forward to completion pics especially to see how the chrome looks with the green color. I'm assuming the Molotow pen is fairly new since my few year old stuff just looks like dull silver paint.
  3. Very nice Jason, great work and ditto on the foiling.?
  4. Nice job Michelle. I can even imagine what it was like to be on one in the ocean during WW2.
  5. Great job, cool kit?
  6. Thanks neighbor......as I said, first ever truck build. Still no clear (this crappy weather) and when I can, it should really "pop"!!
  7. Thats really coming along nicely my Friend, impressive job?
  8. So whats the progress on your build of this car?? Looking forward to seeing it Dan.
  9. And again I'll recommend Rusto Acrylic Lacquer clear, several light coats then a few heavier. It is thin tho so be careful not go too heavy, it will run. I get it at WalMart in automotive section.
  10. Geez Craig, thats a beauty?
  11. Thats a great looking Vette. Looking forward to completion.
  12. Totally agree with ya. I happened to be in Phoenix a few years ago for 2 days and it just so happened I got to experience a severe rain and dust storm. I thought the world was about to end.?
  13. Ahhhh, when racing Stock Cars really were stock cars!! Cool build Curtis?
  14. Looks terrific David. Can't go wrong with black and red....like my wife always says, "the only color on a vehicle is BLACK!!" Between our daughter and the wife and me, we own 4 black vehicles.
  15. Well Chaz, it was a fairly easy job until about half way thru I ran out of older foil I had and had to go to my new sheet. I put one strip on, trimmed it and the whole strip slid right off. Luckily it wasn't destroyed and I was able to get it to stick back on. Every one after that was a bit of an adventure. After I got them all on, I brushed Future over all of the bed to seal them on.

  17. Completed the metal strips on the "wood" bed floor, BMF.
  18. The Olds is looking great Miles, beautiful smooth paint and right on interior. Looking forward to it's completion.?
  19. Thank you Rusty, and thanks for looking?
  20. Thanks Bob. I thought this was a dead thread. Yes, the rule was 24" and mine is surely way more. I personally hate how how it is but it was my first (and only)) scratch built straight axle car and I wasn't about to tear it apart to redo it. We can say it's in extreme launch mode at the strip. Maybe I should put some cotton at the rear tires to simulate smoke huh.?
  21. Looks great Terry. I own a 1:1 '96 Black and Gold Eddie Bauer SWB. I should try that one. Good job?
  22. Thanks David E., Tom, David G. and Craig.
  23. Looking great Jim, love '57's as I think I said in an earlier post. And yep, foiling that body is not something to look forward to. I've done 4 of them since getting back in the hobby and getting the trim around the windows is a b****!!
  24. Good job Mark replicating a former owned car. Many of my builds are just that.
