  4. Oh yeah John, looks terrific even if it isn't a '66. Just razzin' ya? Great job?
  5. Looking great James, keep up the good work Buddy!!
  6. First sighting this winter of our "pet" white deer. Daughters pic taken day before yesterday and she showed up again yesterday evening.
  7. Thats great of you to do that Joe and certainly something to consider. Any thing we can do for veterans is a great thing to do. My Dad did 24 years in the Army and Navy, I did my 7 years in the Army National Guard. So far I don't really have any kits I would want to rob parts from....I still have it in my mind I will get them built even tho in reality I know it will never happen. As a side note, when I say I feel old my dear wife says "Well, it beats the alternative"?
  8. Ditto on the Shapeways shipping, plus they add handling charge and of course tax? A lot of cool stuff on their site just not worth it IMO.
  9. Same here Mario...I'm on my 4th one. Used 87 Formula, new '79, used '99 and my current (forever) 2002 WS6/6-speed.
  10. Well for me, being retired and in my mid-70's I usually get around to doing a bit of work after lunch for an hour to 3. Not every day tho. So it takes me quite a weeks to get a model complete. Big problem for me is I can't get a model finished before I wind up getting more to build. One thing for sure, I have a lot of kits that will never get build. Not a good thing to think about.?
  11. Very nice looking truck ya got there Bob!!
  12. Ohhhhh, thats super nice David?
  13. Great job Richard?
  14. Don't know what it is but sure is menacing looking?
  15. Another LIN classic? Great joib and super realistic weathering?
  16. Well my Friend, sure looks good to me in spite of issues. Definately cool with the Chvy II on top. A lot of good pics!!?
  17. Well Ron, that sure is a shame. As stated, when the moulded in edge is not well defined, the tape method definately works. So far, I haven't layed the foil down first as you recommended Steve, gonna have to try it that way.
  18. Jump in there John and Welcome!!
  19. Well Craig, sure hope you can get the exact color. I would think you could only tell how close it is to that real C3 with clearing. That is one beautiful example of the '71 you are replicating, Good luck!!
  20. Well of course it looks good...its Black over red. Really tho, very nice work there Phillip.
  21. Wow Bill, you sure are ambitious...four builds at one time?? I'm going crazy with my 2 '66 SS's at once. And oh yeah, that 2+2 is awesome!!
  22. Thanks again Bill. I have the back window on my AMT '66 Chevelle SS i'm in process of doing and there is not a whole lot of surface to set the "glass" in. I'll be using the Testors stuff.
  23. Thanks for the reply Bill. Worth a try if I want to gamble. I just seem to always have problems with the windows.
  24. You saying you apply the "window maker" around the outside perimeter of the windshield?
