  1. Nice work on the interior. Looks great all black, very nice looking kit. EDIT: I seen 'dino246gt' pics and thought it was the OP's! haha
  2. That's looking good, lovely colour combo and your foiling looks very clean. Those wheels are looking the business too with those wide whites.?
  3. Some good info here. I recently bought the new full bumper version. Does it have the same or similar issues as the older split bumper release? I remember reading that Round2 made completely new tooling for the front on the full bumper version.
  4. loving the detail you're putting into this. It's builds like this that inspire me to add little details to my own builds, like opening vent windows and scratch built wipers, something I thought I'd never enjoy just a year or two ago.?
  5. Maybe a build made entirely from parts in the spares box? I've seen some really good builds done that way, or you can keep it simple by taking an existing kit and look at some images of the real thing done up in some sort of advertising/promotional vehicle.
  6. The fender reveal party had Graham both shocked and confused!
  7. Lovely work on the paint, looks like glass! Nice clean build there.?
  8. Yes, definitely. If they were mint in the box I wouldn't touch them. Still, I won't be doing any irreversible mods on these as they are still in very good shape. I don't think I need to use any glue either except maybe the engine, which will be water based where needed, so collectors needn't cringe here, Lol.
  9. hay, that's cool! I remember my dad putting a mini motor in a Lego plane we built when I was a kid, I thought it was the coolest thing ever! Thanks for posting that, brought back a nice old memory for me.?
  10. I like how you went your own way with it, looks really good.?
  11. Yes, very unusual to find them in such nice condition too and not the usual glue bombs. I was debating weather to build them, but some of the parts are missing and off the trees, and they'd already been partially built, so won't feel too guilty building them up. I will be using the custom parts, but as you suggest on a later re-issue. No tears will be shed cutting up a Country Charger, haha.
  12. haha, you know me too well! I've always wanted to do a 'restoration' on a used kit, love seeing restoration builds on the forum, so when this duo showed up while browsing ebay I couldn't buy it fast enough, lol.
  13. Sweet looking build, I like that.?
  14. Lovely work on blending that roof in. I remember this in wip last year. I like the wheels you put on it too, looking good.?
  15. Yea, I was well happy. The listing only had two pictures so I didn't know there was two kits in the box until it arrived in the post. The plain steels are from the Revell '68 Mustang GT. I threw them in there hoping to use them on the '69 as the kit is missing all the tyres.
  16. Paint stripped. Gonna go with the box art on these, if I can get my local print shop to reproduce the decals.
  17. Yep, it's that time again:) The MPC 1969, and '68, Dodge Charger that I have such a fondness for, but this time it's two of them... and it's not the Country Charger! Found them on the Bay for £29 partially built and painted. I won't be going my usual route of huge modifications on these, just straight out the box as simple as they are. So if one day someone feels like stripping them and building them again, they can.?
  18. Yea, the 500 doesn't pop up often in the UK. It's more or less the same kit though.?
  19. Outstanding build. I like what you've done with this kit, lovely detail all round! I really like the colour coded steelies too. Sweet?
  20. Beautiful looking Charger, nice work. Love the car transporter, I need one!
  21. Yay, recognition!?. I haven't done the 500 version yet but is high on my to do list.
  22. Looking good, I'm liking the engine detailing. I love these old MPC Charger builds.?
  23. Yep, I might have built one or two, lol! My plan with these is a basic straight out the box build with no modifications.
  24. Beautiful colour combo! Very sharp looking build. This kit is high on my want list!
