Nice colour, and those wheels look good on it.

I have heard this kit is a nightmare but wouldn't think it looking at this. Very nice job! -
Gorgeous looking build. Love the colour, and nice detail on the dash clocks.

Good looking build. Love the driveway set up!

Now that's nice! looks nicer than the one in the movie.

Nice looking '56. Pink and white is so 50's, very cool.

Cool T-Bird, nice deep green metallic. Nice to see the wheels colour coded, often overlooked on these '71 builds.

Nice build, I like the colour and those wheels. It's a nice kit, would love to see R2 release this with the roof. -

1970 Impala using the chassis from the 1967 Supernatural Impala. The '70 Monte Carlo might have been a better option but I couldn't find one at the time. The '67 chassis fitted nicely without any issue, I just had to cut the floor out of the old promo style interior tub, cut the inner fenders off the '67 and modify the firewall cowl. The '70 wheels had pegs behind them for the old metal axles, I cut them off and they fit straight to the '67 wheel backs. Very enjoyable kit-bash.

AMT 1970 Impala, Using '67 Supernatural Chassis

Another one done. I enjoyed kit bashing this, finding what works and what didn't. Apart from cutting the floor out of the old promo interior tub, the whole chassis/floor and running gear of the '67 was pretty much a direct fit. Maybe the '70 Monte Carlo would have been a better option, having a few more 'up to date' details under the hood, but I couldn't find one, so the '67 was good enough. I'll post some outdoor pics in Underglass when it stops raining... that could be weeks from now where I live! Lol -

The '70 wheels fit straight to the '67 back plates, and the back plates fit the '70 tyres?, I just had to cut the pegs off the back of the '70 wheels where the old metal axles went and shave the rim edge down a couple of mm to pull the hubcap in a bit closer to the tyre. The concave shape of the '70 wheels gives plenty of room to clear the '67 hubs. This Supernatural's chassis is ideal for the '70! -

Firewall painted and detailed. I painted the bottom of the windshield black to meet up with the cowl and added a strip of foil to imitate the cowl trim. -

I decided to paint the floor the same colour as the seats but with a light dusting of pale blue. I could flock it but will have to buy some, have never done it before, and there's a million different colours out there! I'm getting too involved in this build now so just want to get it done before I loose interest and ends up another half-finished project. -

Thanks, Steve. I'm gonna try and find a close colour to the seats in a flat shade. I could try flocking, I've never used it before. -

Yep, been there, Lol! I've spent a fair amount of time on some builds doing little details, only to find the part interferes with what's next to it! I learned my lesson here though, which is why everything on the cowl is recessed! Wipers are paper thin too. -

Airfix Morris Marina. I did win a bid on ebay a few months back. The seller didn't know what he had and I got it for £30, but he refunded me soon after and came up with the most ridiculous excuses as to why. He was obviously offered a lot more by someone and just stopped responding to my messages. Incredibly frustrating but happens to me a lot. I was surprised I got those annual Chargers the other week for what I paid for them, I was actually expecting to be gazumped on those too but for once didn't happen.
