  7. Would the basic idea almost be like a "day 2" style build then with bolt ons?
  8. Thank you! Definitely one of my favorites
  9. Thank you! Yeah it seems it would be a tight squeeze in the sleeper compartment
  10. 72 nova ss. I decided to run the optional small block (i figured it could represent a 383)for a little bit better fuel mileage. I used a high-rise intake, carb, air filter, headers, and valve covers from my parts box. Also added an electric fan, wiring, fuel line, and dip-stick. The chassis is mostly stock, i did add traction bars to the rear. I tried to emulate old school nascar style with the shorty side exit exhaust and wide steel wheels at all four corners. On the exterior i added a lift off cowl hood from ebay. The chin and deck spoilers i made. The rear license plate flips down like on the real cars to expose the stock fuel neck. Theres also a "fake" license plate to hopefully throw off pursuing officers. The drivers quarter window houses the fuel cell filler neck. I didnt want a "loud" color, so i went with toyota metallic beige. The interior is where i put in the most work. On the dash i scratch built a radar detector, gps, switch panels to switch between fuel tanks, tail light killswitch,cb radio, and the flip down plate. The stock front seats were swapped with generic racing seats and harnesses. On the passenger seat is a lap top for the passenger to help avoid the cops and any traffic jams. I used the kits roll bar behind the front seats. In place of the rear seat is a fuel cell i modified to straddle the drive shaft tunnel. Also added a fire extinguisher, coffee cups and a "pee bottle" to avoid extra stops lol.

  16. I daily these during the good weather
  17. Got this one finished this morning. The frame frame and wheels are from a lindberg '34 ford pickup. Used the optional lowering front axel. The rear axel is an iceman quick-change. I used the buggy spring and rear frame cross member from a revell '29 ford ratrod kit. The engine is a parts box special, wired up with "parts by parks" oil filter. The headers are solder wire. Scratch built interior tub, the door panels are made from a t-bucket tub, seats from the 29 ford rat rod kit, 34 pickup dash, and a '39 ford steering wheel. Tear drop tail-lights, '34 ford truck grill and headlights, moon tank, jimmy flinstone body
  18. Decided to build a flathead v8 as well. I found a '34 ford kit at an antique store for under 4 bucks, aside from a few pieces being painted it was complete. The engine is from a different revell kit, the heads and intake from the parts box, home made headers. The body is a jimmy flinstone 34 ford i had intended for a different project but didn't use. An iceman quick change rear, the rear cross member and buggy spring are from a 29 ford donor kit.
  19. For anyone wondering why model A wheels arent allowed, heres one on the ones i bought for yard art
  20. I threw this together as a possible contender for the ohv class. '39 ford with a blown nail head. Mostly box stock other than the bomber seats, white walls and narrow slicks
  21. Box stock other than the shortened frame and decals
  22. My good weather drivers
