  1. That turned out sweet. The black on grey really works. Great paint on the driveshaft.
  2. Great build. The white with gold trim is outstanding.
  3. I think you'll hit the nail on the head with the black accents. Can't wait to see it under glass.
  4. Pretty nice. That baby is in the weeds for sure.
  5. That fender trim work looks great.
  6. Great color choice. That goes real well with the black.
  7. Pretty sharp looking Willy's.
  8. Thank you Skip, that sounds like a great solution.
  9. Looking great. Truly can't wait to see what color you decide to go with. I can think of several that would look good.
  10. Thanks guys. I think I'll put a pin into the wheel itself, then epoxy that into the chassis during assembly.
  11. The black engine and the black wheels sure compliment each other nicely. The primer does have an appealing look to it, but I'd love to see some color contrast with the black. I am sure whatever you decide on, it will look great.
  12. I did think about that, but am concerned that it won't be square to the frame, resulting in a crooked wheel. I suppose I could leave the fit a bit loose, on the pin to the wheel, and block the wheel square and glue during final install.
  13. I broke one of the wheel pins for the front wheels on the AMT 66 Nova wagon kit. I have racked my brain trying to come up with an easy fix, but am having no luck. I could rob one form another kit, but that still leaves me short a pin eventually. Any good ideas for a replacement?
  14. I couldn't get a picture. The wife and I went up to the UP for the weekend, and got stuck behind a MAN overlander type truck thing. It was massive, and seemed to top out at 40mph. It had German plates on it, can't imagine how much it cost to ship, let alone buy. It looked like it started as something similar to this, but had a ton of mods (tire and gear racks, lights, etc)
  15. That turned out very nice. Great detailing.
  16. Great color, happy it went down good for you. Can't wait to see it cleared and polished.
  17. Great build. Possibly my favorite T/A body.
  18. Good looking build. That dash looks very impressive.
  19. Not quite today, but last weekend. Been competing strongman for a year now. Didn't start lifting serious weights until about 3 years ago, at 42. Took first place in Master's class at a local competition. Felt pretty good. Trophy presentation and lifting a 215# atlas stone.
  20. Two days apart in a small town here in WI. Not common at all.
  21. Great save on that body, way to stick with it. And I REALLY hope the next paint job goes well for you.
  22. First ride was a 1983 Chevrolet Caprice Classic wagon (in my avatar). First car I owned was a black 1995 Pontiac Grand Am.
  23. Great looking color, hope the paint job turns out well so you don't have to strip it.
  24. Good to see you found the fix. Always nice when its easy like that.
  25. The ride height looks low enough, but still practical for driving to me. Top of wheel to wheel opening arch front and back looks nice also.
