Looking to order Tyrol Blue from Scale Auto Finishes for my 1967 GTO build. New to the airbrushing world, and to scale auto finishes, so I'd like to try a test body first to make sure I have the process correct. I will be using their primer also. Will a 2 oz bottle of their paint (described as airbrush ready) be enough to easily cover 2 bodies? Thanks.

1992 Ford F-150 XL Work Truck
ksnow replied to av405's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Paint looks great. That yellow and white combo is a classic work truck look. -
Thanks. It'll be a while, I sure don't win any building races.

Moebius 1965 Nova SS & 1965 Nova Restomod Announcements
ksnow replied to Erik Solie's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
I am curious what engine the resto-mod release includes. Is it a newer small block or LS? I was under the assumption "resto-mod" meant newer (often modern fuel injection) drivetrain in an older body. -
Trim looks very nice. I may have to try out the tape as a cutting guide trick.

54 chevy pickup chopped

That looks really good chopped like that. Definitely changes the attitude of the truck. The nose and fender proportions look very different. -

Got some paint on the engine. 25 year old Model Masters Pontiac engine blue. Also the first time airbrushing in 25 years.

What a great rebuild of an older model. Would never guess it started as a glue bomb.

Ferguson FF-30

Great looking little tractor. I mowed a lot of grass with a '53 Ferguson, TO-30 model. Those little workhorses are fun.- 10 replies

Any particular release of the GTO you need? I have several of them in the parts stash.

Ford Maverick (new ones) height question

Here's the 6,000 mile update. and 4,000 of them were in ten days on a trip from WI to CO to see family. We love the truck. Ride is very comfortable, handling is great. Its obviously not a race car, but plenty of pep in it step. It did great in the Rockies, paved and gravel roads. Uphill and downhill. Trans shifted well under load, braking going down the long grades never faded. Engine never got hot, and it was in the 90 to 105 degree range much of the time. We kept the speeds on the highways at 70-75, and overall mileage was 29-31mpg. Very impressive. The computer display seemed to frits a bit once, but it was parked in the sun, in 106 degree heat. The screen rebooted after a minute or two and it was fine after that. I think screens for the windshield are going to be ordered. Just this morning the backup camera froze and locked up, apparently there are a lot of known issues with them in Fords, and we have an appointment Wednesday morning to get it looked at. Other than that we really like the truck. -
That does sit nice in the 41. I am sure you will find a wicked powerplant for the 36.

Saw my first Tesla truck on Sunday on the road. Seeing it in real life didn't help it look any better. -
