Saw my first Tesla truck on Sunday on the road. Seeing it in real life didn't help it look any better. -

That engine is almost unbelievable. Amazing work. -
That engine looks great. Very nice detailing.

Very nice build. I am one that is struggling with a release of this kit. The headers on the Baldwin Motion big block just don't want to fit between the engine and the frame. -
Got some tire/wheel assemblies made up for overhead axle pressing. A coworker upgraded their hay wagon wheels and i got the takeoffs for free. Bought some used iron plates and started drilling. 55 pounds each. Backyard strongman DIY is fun. I'll test them out this weekend.

David, nice build. Yes, this model will mean a lot. And since my Dad is a modeler also (mainly wooden ships) he will really appreciate all the fine detailing.

Another small update. I cut the fender liners off the first body i put them on to, and got them on a body with fewer flaws in casting. Its nice having multiple kits to pick and choose parts from. I also got the heads drilled for plug boots and the block drilled for the dist. I also ran a practice applying chrome trim for the vinyl top on one of the lesser quality bodies. I am pretty pleased with the results for my first attempt.

Correct, not only room for deployment, but reduced chance of arm/hand/wrist injury from blowing your hands off the steering wheel.

I was thinking a thread devoted to Heidi... Can't wait to see the progress on the kit. My dad built one of their trains, quite an impressive model.

Signed up for my next Strongman competition. August 10 gives me plenty of time to go through a few heavy lifting cycles. It's been a year since I competed, really looking forward to it again.

I am definitely saving those, thank you very much. -
Wow, that looks really nice with the clear on it. Hopefully the wet sanding goes well. That red really pops.

That looks really, really nice. Might have to try out those paints.

Just returned from a grave side service for a Revolutionary War veteran buried in Brookfield, WI. Very moving ceremony.

Just a small update. I received a correct intake manifold. I decided to open it up a bit, like the original Pontiac intakes were. I am pretty happy with the result.
