  1. You can get 12v power supplies for the bilge fans that plug into a 120v outlet. Most fans pull air much better than push. Mount the fan near the exit of the duct, instead of at the booth.
  2. Congrats to everyone.
  3. Great looking build. Seen a lot of those just like that around here plowing snow.
  4. Here's a thread about paint booths, and pictures of the one I put in my basement, using the bilge fan.
  5. Explosion proof fans are not expensive. A 12v bilge fan and a power supply are all you need.
  6. Thank you. I am very happy with where I am at. When I finally hit 405 it'll be awesome.
  7. Hit a new deadlift personal record yesterday. 365#, at 190 bodyweight. Getting closer to my goal of 405# by the end of the year.
  8. Females of both species are starting to look for denning sites this time of year.
  9. Nice build, love those old warbirds.
  10. That's a really cool looking truck.
  11. That black and gold is going to look really nice.
  12. That's a kitty cat for sure. Very round, where a canine track would be more oval. Canine tracks would also show claws, especially in that light snow cover. And canines also typically leave a 2x2 track pattern, their hind foot falls beside their front foot. Cats often step their hind foot directly into the front foot track.
  13. I like the cardboard under the engine.
  14. Great build, great color.
  15. Sunday afternoon I got a call from the neighbor that their brother-in-law was stuck in their silo, while feeding the cows. That's a call that will send chills down anyone's spine. Silo accidents can be horrific. Luckily, he was just stuck on top of some sileage in the chute and couldn't get out of the bottom. Took about an hour to clear the chute. Could have been much, much worse.
  16. I am really enjoying watching the process of this build. Makes me want to to crack open a plane kit after I finish up a few cars.
  17. SW Sheboygan County, grew up in Racine. Not a member of a club.
  18. Very clean build, really nice.
  19. If you need someone to cut a new key based on the VIN, be ready to provide proof of ownership.
  20. Nice, clean build. Well done.
  21. Yep, that's the one. I don't mind helping people spend their money on hobbies. Can't wait to see the build.
  22. Yes, early on they used the deuce and a half, but the suspension and drivetrain wouldn't hold up, so they switched to 5 tons. M54A2. There is/was a 1/35 available from AFV that had the M113 box on the M54A2 truck. That would ne a super cool build.
  23. I've been going down this rabbit hole since the thread was started. Its a fascinating topic. Seems "midnight requisition" was the order of the day. Some of them even used the hull from an M113 APC as the armored box on the back. M60s', M2's, quad 50's and even M134 miniguns, quite the variety. Lots of room for "what if" builds if you're not into rivet counting.
