The whitetail doe was back in the pond over the weekend, she is really liking those cattails apparently. Just waiting for her fawn to make an appearance, should be any day now. The oriole feeder (jelly jar style) was knocked upside down this morning. Its the time of year that the young raccoons (ring-tailed trash pandas) start making a nuisance of themselves. And lastly, the young bald eagles are out and soaring now, nice to see adult pairs with a young one.

We've been seeing a whitetail doe hanging around the pond and the field to the North the last few days. Got a real good look at her last night, and her udder is quite full. Must have a little on or two in the woods nearby.

That looks amazing. -
Those are known as Himalayan possums, on account of "him a layin" in the road, LOL.

Really nice looking wrecker. A good friend was a wrecker operator in VietNam, I should ask what he drove. -

Another awesome build. That's quite the fire power in the bed. Lotsa hot brass flying around when the excrement hit the fan. -
Bentley getting some belly rubs after a gruelling frisbee session, haha. For a little dog, this dude is fast.

Finally was able to spot the yellow warbler that's been singing in our mountain ash tree the last several days. Birds and other wildlife love the little baths, make sure to change the water every day or three, to keep the mosquitoes from breeding in them.

I really like the non traditional paint color on this one.

Great builds. Love seeing any kind of Pontiac. -
We have a grey catbird visiting our feeders. They are usually pretty elusive, so its neat to see one up so close. Also saw a litter of fox kits out in the field next door. Romping and playing just like a bunch pf puppies.

Over the weekend I was able to finally put a permanent roof over the outside chicken run. They are now safe from predators (land and air) and will stay dry. No more muddy chicken run when it rains.

Red always works on a 442. Good save on the exhaust.

Saw a young of the year Great Blue Heron perched in the dead ash tree by the creek. Its amazing how big they get by this time of year. It flew off to the Southwest, I am assuming it was from a nest on that direction, there is a rookery down that way. Also saw an Indigo Bunting. We see a few every year, this is our second this year. And a female wood duck was spotted flying into one of our nesting boxes by the creek. Have only seen her a couple times this spring, wasn't sure if she was nesting or not.

Supe clean build, love it! I like the color matching between the frame and engine.

Saw a nice healthy doe (whitetail) by the pond. Have had them on the cameras the last few days, VERY pregnant. This one looks like it may have dropped its fawn finally. Been cold and wet here. Tough on the little guys.
