  1. WOW! now i want to misbehave. a really cool build. the white with no chrome, fantastic.
  2. WOW! that thing looks great in black. a really nice skyline there, andy. i have built both the aoshima and the fujimi GT-Rs and they present well. yours is outstanding.
  3. the fairlane is cool. with green wheels, it is really cool. love the look.
  4. Try this on for size. a one off kit car an a triunph spitfire chassis. nobody is close on the red roadster, hint: only 6 made. powered by ubiquitous 1100 coventry-climax.
  5. nope. wrong side of the pond.
  6. hey nick. the top one is a 1972 clan crusader 875cc coupe. based on a mini. the black and white one i am still working on. it looks like a prototype for some sort of lotus elan sedan; however, the badge does not look right. i will keep looking into it. how about this rare little racer?
  7. wow..... what beautiful pair of flounders. they both look really cool. you are right. simple kits that, with a little detailing, turn out great.
  8. .....and the cars are down right hideous. look at the bmw. winglet things springing out all over the place. UGH!
  9. hey friend that is really one nice , old '40, friend. you really have a talent for capturing that old, used look, friend. that, my friend, would look great on any shelf. nice work, friend. ok, now that that is out of the way, when do i get mine. seriously though, nice work, mr. perez.
  10. see you tomorrow len, with tools and equipment.
  11. that wasn't me! that's my story and i am sticking to it. HAPPY BIRTHDAY
  12. go raul, go!
  13. german mentality.
  14. WOW super cool!! how much of that is fabricated? looks really good, john.
  15. you mean this one here........ real.
  16. HAPPY BiRTHDaY, GREgG. now make a wish and blow out your candles. have a good one, man
  17. cragar s/s's and lakewood ladder bars! man, those were the days. cragar nailed the the look right out of the box, back in '65. OBTW, you built a really fine classic there. perfect color choice.
  18. that is a really nice '55 you got there. i am not much into customs; however, this caught my fancy. i really like the colors and the knock offs look great on there. nice job.
  19. hey, i did some checking and found that vcg resins has a set of turbos. www.vcgresins.com. pictures looked ok.
  20. well sir, i think it is a detailed auto art 1/18 diecast.
  21. oh yeah! that looks so much better than the first picture you posted. the stance, color and wheels are so in harmony. great job. but i have to say, love the interior. custom touches yet it looks stock. that is probably the biggest reason i do not do stock/custom cars, due to the fact that i suck at interior work. GREAT JOB. have fun at the nnl west.
  22. cool! makes me want to go find a leisure suit.
  23. if memory serves me right , pretty much every american 4bbl carb, from the 60s and the 70s, came yellow chromated. the only ones i can remember, that were white chromated, were the carter thermoquad, came exclusively on chrysler products. it has a black plastic body (the lower part) and the top is white chromate. the other 4bbl is the autolite 4100. both top and bottom are white chromate. as stated by bluesman, the edelbrock (formally carter AFB, cast by weber) is polished chromate along with some custom holleys, demons and proforms. also, i use westley's bleche-wite (tire cleaner) to strip chrome. fill a tupperware bowl with it and just dip the parts. works great.
  24. my heart actually hurts, seeing those pics. may she rest in peace.
  25. it looks to me to be a pontiac sprint 6. it was an overhead cam, 250 ci six cylinder. it was an option on the 68 and 69 firebird. it originally had a 4 barrel quadrajunk. yours looks good with the what appears to be three down draft (IDAs) webers. it would look awesome in an old style rod.
