The two tone went well, then the decals weren't bad...had to cut away a lot of the edges trying to get as close to just the red as possible since I reversed the colors. Then I cleared it and everything went downhill. It looks ok in the picture but it is really bad. Going to finish it anyway, but this one will be at the back of the display case...if it doesn't live in a box the rest of it's life that is.

I think you’ll like the new rolling stock Dennis... Going to lean a a little more show-car than originally planned, interior will be a full on grey tweed job and the body will be dechromed...not sure on bumpers yet.

Looks great! I prefer the steelies.

Picked one up a while ago and finally got to use it, and all of a sudden I can't imagine what I would do without it.

Fantastic!!

Once again, I really really like this!! I don't like to post my own pictures in other folks build threads but want to share this one...I started it years ago before my most recent building hiatus. Not much to it so far but the plan was combining a late model Challenger interior and drivetrain with it. So far just have wheels/tires/stance set up on it. Hopefully I'll get back to it one day and can get it on par with yours!

One more vote for Tudor door lines

Yeah but I can’t handle the 4-spoke

I think it is going to get a 4-link and coil over shocks. We'll see what the parts box has to offer! I'll build enclosures around the rear tires but they fit pretty well between the quarter panel and framerail as is, so I don't plan to move any of that. Nice work on that chassis! Thanks all for the comments!

What did you see on the road today?

That one was special!! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lotus_Cortina -
If I had to put '32 body styles into groups, there would be 4... Roadster and a phaeton have so much in common with one another. They share the same cowl, windshield, and front doors. Cabriolet or Sport Coupe have far more in common with a 5-window than a roadster and I would group them with the 5w coupes. A 3 window is it's own animal that shares little more than subrails with other '32s. A Victoria would have to be with 2 and 4 door sedans. B400's and deliveries also in this group. But after all this is all semantics and doesn't really matter!

I've got a bunch of these! I'll start with the oldest. I should take some better pictures of this one since I still have it, but it's about a 15 year old build at this point. I actually did this one for a Goodguys Gazette article a while back. Purposefully built with different wheels side to side. This one was a lot of fun to do. Another I need to take better pictures of. So much going on it'd be hard to get too specific. This one I built as a clone of a car Pinkee's rod shop built. This last one has a fun story. I used to work for a company that sold hot rod parts. We were vending at the NSRA Nationals in Oklahoma City ( could have been Springfield, MO too) and I found out they were having a model car contest. We were there early for setup, so I was able to go to Hobby Lobby that Wednesday or Thursday night and grab something to build. I got back to the hotel room with an AMT 5-window, a Beatnik Bandit, and some paints/blue and got to work. Entered it in the show on Friday and took home a couple awards with it.

Very Alloway looking, really neat roadster. Here's a couple I've done over the years. This one from the Revell kit. I couldn't tell you where a lot of the parts came from that are on it, and don't think it had an engine in it. This Big Deuce has looked like this for a solid 10-12 years. One day I'll finish it. -
1970 Chevelle ‘90’s street machine, quick build.

One of my favorite kits when I was a kid, I need to get another. Looking good! -
Great build and I love the color

Almost have too many irons in the fire already but was pretty excited to get this one started. So far I've just cut out the rear wheelwells and narrowed the rear seat. Not going to back half it, just a "mini tub". Inspired by a couple local cars, one is more of a '70's style car while the other is full on street legal racecar. This will be silver with black stripes, another tunnel ram big block, and I'm not sure if the intake will be poking through the hood or if I'll do a scoop. Wheels will also change but I haven't decided on to what yet.

Still a bunch of shaping and other work to do after everything has set up for a while.

Thanks guys!! so far, so good on the paint. Will let it cure a while before I attempt decals and clear.
